Not only are their rolls dry with a stale feeling but they are also tasteless. During COVID they have the audacity to put a sign on front door stating NJ law requires a mask to be worn by customers, which there is no actual “law”....However, you may enter the store and pick out your own rolls, leaning your dirty clothes into the bins and touching ALL of the rolls with your dirty hands. You want traditional and delicious Italian rolls....go to Boaggio’s or Cacia’s, where it is CLEAN. Don’t waste your money at Del Buono’s.More

Went in expecting a nice crunchy Italian hoagie roll. What we got was the texture of a grocery store hot dog roll. I had not tried their rolls prior to COVID, but I suspect this may be COVID related. Instead of leaving the rolls in...bulk and bagging when purchased, they are immediately putting the rolls into plastic bags. This traps in the moisture and destroys the texture of the bread.More

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the rolls are being bagged, which does make them softer. If you are there when rolls are coming off the oven, we provide gloves so you can pick them off the oven.

This place is great. You can get the rolls coming out of the oven almost all day and the prices are really good.

There’s nothing like fresh, hot rolls coming off the oven! Thanks for the great review. We appreciate your business.

We’ve been fans for twenty years plus but when Nino sold the bakery we couldn’t find the heart to go back. We finally did and were delighted to find the same crusty delicious rolls plus expanded specialty items. Prices are still very reasonable and the...conveyor bringing hot rolls straight from the oven still is running. We were delighted with the tiramisu— a bargain and one of the best we’ve ever had! Service is friendly and helpfulMore

Went here for NJ bagels. Few options to choose from. There are rolls galore though. All was good. When checking out saw red velvet donuts. They were a big hit.

Thanks for stopping by. We appreciate you taking the time to review our bakery. We usually have four types of bagels that are baked in the morning. Unfortunately sometimes they go very fast, especially on weekends. We hope to see you again.

You want good rolls and more? Head to Del Buono's! I've been coming here since I was a kid, this place is still a local institution. You haven't gotten rolls until you've gotten them hot of the massive oven roller! Then there's all the other...baked goods they sell (pies, pizzelles, cookies, you name it). And since they merged with Carmen's Deli, Del Buono's has become a one-stop shop for all your sandwich needs! Note: a word of advice: be sure to get paper bags for your rolls! They've switched to plastic bags and if you're not careful, warm rolls will get soggy. Be sure to keep the top of the bag open when you get them home! But they do have paper bags if you request them.More

The new Del Buono's has more than just bread now. Although the variety of rolls and good prices is still the main attraction. The addition of the Carmen’s sandwiches is a big plus. But the bakery now has cookies, pastries, Italian pizzelle and biscotti, pies,...pretzels and so much more. The expanded variety enables you to get almost everything you need to host a casual party or viewing event. The hours allow you to go early, late or in between. Don’t buy your sandwich rolls from the tasteless supermarket bins. Come here!More

Best affordable place to get rolls and bread in south jersey. And it’s ton of fun to watch the industrial oven run. You catch your rolls fresh from the oven!

I have been a patron of Del Buono's for over 40 years, up until last year this facility was only a bakery for bread, cookies and a few assorted items. Last year the new owner added Carmen's hoagies to the mix, he turned one side...of the bakery into a deli/sandwich shoppe. Since this transformation the selection, availability and quality of baked rolls and breads has decreased tremendously and the addition of the deli is not so great!. We have purchased sandwiches on several occasions from the deli and they were nothing like the old Carmen's Deli sandwiches in Bellmawr. Actually they are not that good, we probably won't be purchasing them again. As far a value goes the hoagies start at about $9 and the quality of the sandwiches has gone down hill, they are not worth what they charge for them.More
