I'm fortunate to live in Frenchtown , and the inn is only a short walk away, and I walk there often ! The one thing I know is the consistency of the food and service it's always great . They always make you feel welcome, it really is one of my favorite places , and I cannot recommend it enough... More

It's supposed to be one of the upscale East Coast Inns that serve either creatively designed or well executed classics or both. Unfortunately, the goal was not achieved. It pales in comparison with the Pluckemin Inn, for example. My Aussie lamb was ok (no real complaints, but not memorable, either). However, the goat cheese salad was close to a disaster... More

Highly recommend this Inn. I think it's the ONE OF THE BEST restaurants in New Jersey. Food is incredible, staff always accommodating, friendly and atmosphere is just charming. Have eaten here several times and have NEVER been disappointed.

Pretentious but pleasant. Out door seating is nice on a warm evening. food is ok but nothing special. Had batter fried soft shell crab (one) and two batter fried shrimp for $27. Batter overwhelmed both and was especially sad on the soft shell. Made a decent Vesper.

I have been here many times previously, and must admit, this is the best experience I had there. I had asked for several substitutions from my menu item, which they graciously accommodated. They were extremely attentive to our needs. The servers were great, and went out of their way for us.

We got to the restaurant about 30 minutes early and had a pre dinner drink at the bar. Very friendly bar staff and everyone tried one of their specialty drinks, all were very very good. We sat on the front porch for dinner. The noise from traffic was not bad at all. Weather was warm so no sweater or jacket... More

My family and I ate here for a birthday celebration and were very impressed with our experience. Food was delicious and service was great. The atmosphere was superb. Enjoyed eating here very much and have gone back since our original visit.

We met friends for dinner as this was close to the mid point for us. I read all the positive reviews beforehand (love trip advisor!) and was not disappointed. We had a wonderful time on a Friday night. The dining room is quaint and was on the quiet side that night which made it easy to converse and catch up... More
