Our second visit only because we ate there a number of years ago, so this place requires a visit when back in the area. Soup, crab legs and tiramisu for dessert!

Don't eat here expecting blue claw crabs because they are not on the menu. What you will find and enjoy is shrimp, clams, snow crabs, Dungeness and king crab legs. You must start with the shrimp and use the cocktail sauce provided.....guaranteed to clean out your sinuses! Steamed clams are salty and go down easy. I can't say how the... More

If you want seafood this is the place! The value is amazing for the quality & quantity of seafood you get. You can't touch fresh seafood cooked to order for this price. Looks like a hole in the wall joint from the outside but you won't be disappointed! They do have sandwiches, chicken fingers & wings too. I have been... More

Hadn't been to this place for 15 years, always remembered how good it was, still good after all these years. It is close to the major roads. This is the original Cap'n Cats restaurant and may not look much but it has a lot of character.

Food is outstanding but be prepared to wait! You wait forever to be seated even when it's not busy! Then the servers are so slow, again even when it's not busy. Food is excellent though so it's worth the aggravation of the poor service. It was nice to see a new server Lex who was excellent and provided great service... More

Went out on a date here and found the place to be charming with a man playing the piano in the background. Casual attire is acceptable though some people really dressed up. I started with oyster stew which was delicious and just like my mom used to make. The hard oyster crackers are at the table for munching or putting... More

Yeah we're back home and craving some seafood so whwere else would we come? Cap'n Cat Clam Bar of course! We knew things were different from the time we walked in. The hostess greeted us right away and suggested we sit at a bigger table to be more comfortable. Let's get to the seafood. We started out with a dozen... More

The place have many interesting things to look at. Like an old player piano, and all kinds of collectibles. The sell all seafood. Only seafood, no potatoes or veggies. It's alway fresh.
