We went here just for a casual dinner. The place is nice and clean. The service was good with just a little hiccups. Overall, it still good.

Personally José Tejas is one of my to go places. I was reading some of the “terrible” reviews and I’m just shocked and disappointed. I have never had a bad experience or have encountered this Manager James. But I really hope he’s been fired. He...sounds disgusting. That being said, I think the food is great. Any of the servers I’ve had have been lovely. I either do the blackened salmon, the crawfish ettoufe (excuse my spelling), or the shrimp and crawfish quesadilla. My mom loves the enchiladas. Yesterday my boyfriend had the chicken Burros, and he cleaned the plate quick. Said it was delicious. Chips and salsa are always good. And our waitress brought more when we asked.More

Jose Tejas is a great place to go to for lunch or dinner. It's very casual. You could go there on a date, or with family and friends. The menu is very reasonably priced and the portions are large. Unlimited chips and salsa. Ask for...Jamie to be your waiter, he's the best.More

I've been going to Jose Tejas for the past 20 years at least once a week, lately 4 times per week cause I love it so much! Staff and management is super nice and I always get treated like royalty. Karla, Christian, AJ, Joe and...Jamie at the bar are AWESOME!!! I never even once had a bad experience here and I LOVE THEIR FOOD!! They even make a special cocktail just for me... I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!More

Always great food. Get there early if you don't want to wait for Sunday lunch. Acoustics are a bit noisy, but the Tex-Mex/ Cajun food is worth it.

We have always loved Jose Tejas. We all have our favorite meals and look forward to our visit. Unfortunately, today was the worst experience in ANY restaurant. We had a large size group, the Manager said they couldn’t group us together and we had no...problem. We asked if our group could be decided up into smaller groups and we mind if we didn’t sit together. The Manager said that was a worst idea because we use be using her limited tables. She even said she would rather us go somewhere else. We were speechless. I cannot believe she treated us this. We were celebrating my Mother In Laws birthday and had to go somewhere else.More

It had been years since I was there but last Daturday night we stopped off for dinner at Jose Tejas. Huge, delicious margaritas and tasty fajitas. Wait was only 30 minutes most likely due to the bad weather. Wait times can be steep, and we...know why...yummy food and great service!More

My husband and I come here 1-2x a month on a weekday because it’s delish HOWEVER we learned our lesson to never come around the holidays. Brought my out of town family here because it’s our favorite spot for chimichurri steak and left embarrassed and...disappointed. We didn’t mind waiting over an hour for our seats because they had a bar but everyone’s food was horrible after we sat down. The kitchen was probably in a rush to get everyone’s food out since it was jam packed the day before New Year’s Eve. All 4 of my party’s chimichurri steaks came out overcooked, room temperature and the chimichurri sauce (which we always love) came out very sweet and unpleasant. They also ran out of all chopped beef (for fajitas or tacos) which sucked after waiting so long and deciding what we’ve already wanted. The shoestring fries which are usually delish came out overcooked and rock hard. So upsetting that my fam drove from out of state to eat at a place which they called “awful”.More

Brilliant vibe & Gr8 Tex mex After planning for a couple of weekends & not making it knowing there will be a long wait ... my daughter made sure we made it finally as she was craving their margaritas & food ! We were quite...full after a high tea at a friends place ! There was a half an hour wait ( short as compared to normal times when it can be more than a hour esp on Saturday nights ) . The place is huge & every table was full ! The crowd was mainly young with a mix of middle aged ! Totally lively & fun place . The food was superb & the margaritas brilliant ! Totally worth visiting ! Priced very reasonably for the quality of food & drinks !More
