My husband and I randomly came across this tapas restaurant last night. We were just blown away by its decor, the service (waiter literally went above and beyond), delicious healthy tapas options, and very flavorful! We ordered fried sardines (who’d think that would actually taste good but was amazing!!), sweet fried plantains, sunny side egg over small sliders with sausage inside (to die for), and beef empanadas. Since we like spicy food, we asked for any house or special hot sauce and the waiter went and gave us a nice bottle of authentic Spanish sauce which just blew us away! Please check this restaurant out! Plus they have a bar! Next time we hope to try the sangria!!

Not as good as usual this time. Food could have been warmer, mariscada seemed a bit watery, but nonetheless it was tasty. Service was not as attentive as usual. And they now impose a surcharge for credit card use which really pisses me off. This is becoming a growing trend, and I don't like it.

This was our first post-corona visit to a longtime favorite and it was good to learn that little had changed. Decor is still grotto-tacky. Food is still the best this side of Madrid. Service is competent and friendly. Clientele is as diverse as the city of Englewood. Prices are fair and reasonable. What's not to like? Two tapas and one mariscada and we were full. For those of us who remember Il Faro in the Village, this is as good as it gets

We've been dining here for years and have noticed a marked decline in the past few visits. The place was half full on a Saturday night which was the first clue. The tapas which should be served sizzling hot were warm. The mariscada was watery and the lobster pieces were from the inedible parts of the lobster. The saffron rice was just tasteless yellow rice. The shrimp in the mariscada were chewy. We won't be back......I don't think they can survive at this level.

We just came back from Spain and were looking for an authentic tapas restaurant. We are beyond thrilled with Pintxo y Tapas. Truly, a wonderfully authentic and delicious meal. Cozy room, with great service, killer sangria, and traditional flamenco music overhead. We will be back, with friends!

Had an outstanding dinner here with my wife and another couple before attending a concert at a nearby theatre. The tables and restrooms were very clean, atmosphere comfortable. Above all, the food and service was outstanding. Highly recommended+++

Everything this restaurant serves is an epicurean delight! 7 of us had dinner, from tapas to dessert. We had excellent service from the time we walked in. The Sangria is out of this world. Will be going again and again!

Huge portions, attention to detail, pretty good food. On a cold night, the back of the restaurant was warm and quiet. We were allowed to stay as long as we wanted without being pushed out. Thank you for a lovely date night!

We had never dined here before but had tickets at Bergen PAC so decided to seek out a new pre-show spot. So glad we did. The atmosphere is perfect and takes you far away from the streets of Englewood. My wife and I were going to share 4 tapas plates but (based on the advice of our server) narrowed it down to three. Happy we did because serving sizes were larger than expected and 4 would have been excessive. Our choices put a unique spin on typical tapas items. Calamari and empanada specials were unrecognizable as such when they arrived at the table but we were both pleasantly surprised once we dug in and would order both again without hesitation. Our third selection was a tuna and crab stuffed avacado. I’m not a lover of avacado in general but this ended up being my favorite item on the table (my wife’s as well, btw). Wife ordered a margarita and gave it a strong review. We had flan and espresso for dessert and the whole place sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to my wife. Tip: leave enough time to sit and enjoy. We made 6pm reservations before an 8pm Bergen PAC show and it was perfect. We sat and talked and lingered and laughed (they was tapas are supposed to be enjoyed) and entered the theater with 15 minutes to spare. Would recommend this spot without hesitation!

Pintxo y Tapas is a neighborhood gem that provides a NYC culinary experience from beginning to end. This visit was strictly a "tapas" evening with the perfect collection of fish, chicken and beef bites and ohhhh the calamari! Tender and delicious. Don't forget the plantains -- sweet, soft and tasty -- no one can eat just one! Because thisrug was a birthday celebration, of course we needed to save room for dessert . . . we chose the TARTA DE SANTIAGO (Almond tart) and the SERRADURA (whipped cream pudding layered with graham cracker crumble and raspberry-blackberry Melba sauce) and were not disappointed. Service was attentive, warm and professional and the atmosphere was warm and intimate. We look forward to a future trip, that will allow us to try the many wonderful and interesting main dishes (paella perhaps?) Thank you to Pintxo y Tapas for making my birthday delightful and delicious! Oh, and did I mention their refreshing signature sangria?

We were in town for the New York City Wine and Food Festival and needed a dinner that could live up to our other experiences. Pintxo y Tapas certainly succeeded!! We ordered nine different items and the top three were the paella, the fried sardines, and the potatoes in cream. The paella was like a culinary treasure hunt, looking for the next shrimp, scallop, clam, mussel, and lobster. One serving was more than enough to feed two people.

I was looking for something near Bergen PAC and decided to try Pintxo y Tapas based on Trip Advisor reviews. Was not disappointed! White sangria, best I've had! Soup of the day, Caldo, very good (better than mine). Monkfish very flavorful. Side of fried potatoes were excellent! Now, I've eaten at MANY Spanish/Portuguese restaurants over the years and the potatoes are usually soggy and blech the next day (if not before your meal is over). These potatoes were light and crispy when served and even the next day out of the fridge! My husband made the mistake of ordering grilled calamari (thinking they were fried) - not to our liking but not the restaurant's fault! Looking forward to our next visit, already planning my meal. Atmosphere pleasant, impeccable service!

Some of the very best tapas around. A wide variety of interesting, tasty foods. This place is a hidden gem. If you are looking for something a bit different for your palate, this is the place.

My daughter and I bought grandpa here for dinner to celebrate his 90th Birthday. The atmosphere was great, the food delicious and the kids enjoyed it too. If you come here for dinner please make sure you try their croquetas de jamon because they are so delicious! But honestly we loved every single item that we ordered. The waiters bought out a flan with a candle for grandpa, he loved it.
