I recently visited Cassie's in Englewood with my husband and good friends. We had a terribly unfortunate incident where my husband accidentally left his phone on the table, and only realized it after the show we attended at the Bergen PAC had ended We returned to the restaurant immediately after the show, the restaurant was closed, and the manager had... Old fashioned Italian restaurant with excellent food and huge portions. Most portions easily cover 2 people. Pastas, pizzas, salads, vegetables, etc. All great Italian comfort food. Busy with lots of tables and a bar. Easy parking nearby.

I always go there for dinner so you can park in the covered parking lot next door without paying the meter. The location is good. The food is good and fresh. I try not to eat carbs too much but when I have a pizza craving, this is the only place I go. Their pizza is thin, the cheese is... More

I live in Englewood so this is from a resident's perspective. Cassie's pizza is a divine experience to be savored with good company. Definitely not a run-of-the-mill pizza joint. Hand-made, coal fired pizza, fresh mozzarella, vegetables in their prime--some of the best pizza I've eaten has been at Cassie's. (And I've eaten plenty of "gourmet" pizza in NYC!) I'm vegetarian... Consistently excellent food ... menu doesn't change much and the atmosphere is definitely family style (very loud during busy hours), but you know that you will get great food and ample portions.

Family style dining. Get an excellent meal for 2 that serves 5 or more. If you don't mind a little noise Cassie's has fine Italian cuisine that can be ordered family style. Eat it there or take it home. Either way they don't skimp on the portions. Friendly and attentive staff, as well.

This restaurant delivers large portions of so so food. It is popular with family groups as pizza is a staple. The atmosphere is spare and the noise level is compounded by TV and bar crowd in the front room.

Burnt piece of chicken parmesan! Completely black! Inedible! How did the kitchen send this out? Worst tomato sauce on the pasta! Nothing more than unseasoned canned tomatoes, could not eat it. Worst waiter service! Not once did he come over to us after taking our order, had to look for him for service, twice. Had to ask for the check... More

We went to Cassie's for a last minute meal because we wanted simple good Italian food and we were casually dressed. We were not disappointed in the taste of the food, nor the generous quantity. We had a choice of individual meals or family size. The menu is limited to the basics ( salads, sandwiches, pizza, pasta and you can... More
