First time curious, restaurant is so quiet... only 1 table occupied by another guest.. but when we try, taste is good, not bad, and really Szechuan taste... nice, but need promotion and sales

Been driving past Edison Noodle House for years and finally decided to give it a try. I fancy noodle style dishes and have had quite a few of the course of time. When I walked in there was one other table that was occupied by English speaking folks. The other tables (6) were folks speaking Chinese. To me this is usually a good sign that the food will be authentic. I wasn’t disappointed. I ordered the beef & noodle soup which was good but could of used a bit more spice. I looked around at the other tables and all the dishes seemed well prepared and people were enjoying what they ordered. The wait staff was so-so probably more so because they spoke Chinese and I don’t. All in all this is an average noodle place for the area and I’ll probably put this into my lunch rotation.

This small family owned Noodle House is situated behind Rutgers University's New Brunswick Livingston Campus on Route 27 in Edison. A place that serves mainly authentic Taiwanese noodle dishes including soup based and very spicy dishes. They also have dumplings, fried rice, and tofu dishes. My favorite is the spicy beef noodle, and my least favorite is the Chinese pizza. Prices are average in that area, but not cheap. Services are so so. Parking is available but somewhat limited.
