Rebecca’s has been serving Bergen County since 1998 with homemade Cuban & Caribbean Cuisine and since then, we have retained and unleashed the same world class chef, kept the delightful menu consistent, preserved the cozy and romantic atmosphere, and improved the property. The restaurant has been noted in many publications, including Zagats 2005 - 2009, the NY Times 2005 and New Jersey Monthly 2005. Providing great food, warm & friendly service and value (BYOB) is our top priority. With its premiere location on Old River Road in historic Edgewater, Rebecca's is an exceptional event venue for private dining in Edgewater, NJ. We are happy to host bridal showers, weddings, rehearsal dinners, anniversary parties, business meetings and more.

Rebeccas has amazing food! Everyone loved what they ordered. They staff were flexible in accommodating my large party (15 ppl). It was byob so I brought wine and peach schnapps for sangria. Two issues though 1. It was raining out & the room we were in had water all over the floor from the leaky windows. It was cold in the room so they provided a space heater which seemed risky due to the water 2. They returned the unused wine from the sangrias but not the schnapps. I didn't realize it until the next morning but they were closed and I live over an hour away. Other than that Rebecca's is a great choice for great food in an intimate setting as long as it's not raining.

Good food. Not so great service.

Good food. Not so great service. Was there for New Years. We reserved a table the day before. Had a price fixe menu. Kitchen was overwhelmed. Food was good though. I might go back on a non holiday.

What a gem!!! Had dinner with my wife, great food then is BYOB. Great service , love their black beans soup, salmon and guacamole. One of my fav Cuban restaurant

Awful! Poor food, worse service

Awful! Poor food, worse service and more. We had dined there on previous occasions which were fine. Rebeccas has taken a turn for the worse and I say stay away.

We have been to Rebecca’s before and enjoyed our meals there and have recommended Rebecca’s to many people. Our dining experience at Rebecca’s this evening was absolutely terrible we waited over 45 minutes for our entrée. The couple next to us were seated 20 minutes after us and were having their entrée after their appetizers as we were receiving our entrées. When our entrees finally arrived, they were lukewarm. The dish read on the menu as Jerk chicken with a mango, pineapple & papaya salsa. It was dry thin pieces of chicken with just pineapple my guess, it was the appetizer chicken poorly disguised as the main course less mango & papaya. Note to the chef, if you can’t serve as described please don’t serve it or better yet or in this case rename it to JERK CHICKEN SURPRISE! When I asked an employee why the entree took so long he said he would look into it. After sometime I took it upon myself to seek him out for an answer and the check. He acknowledged the 45-minute wait was too long and it was a mix up by the servers of which we had 4 different ones. When he came back with the check he saw our barely touched dinners and asked if we would like to take them home. I was wondering if he thought we could not finish because we were still full from the appetizer we had over an hour and a half ago and or this meal would taste so much better at home. We declined and he said he had phoned the manager and the manager approved a most generous discount of 20% off the meal which was not as described and barely edible. To management: When attempting to manage by phone the results, in this case, are bad service, unappealing food, two fewer customers with no future recommendations.

Great Food

The food is fantastic! From the delicious black bean soup to the maduro plantains to the ropa villejo. Veronica was great as our server. She did no rush us and was extremely pleasant and easy to talk to. She had great recommendations.

Great restaurant!

I had visited this restaurant years ago & have been wanting to go back. It was a great dining experience again. The citrus salmon and tuna dishes were delicious! Please note, my husband is very picky about his tuna and he indicated it was perfectly cooked, seasoned and very tender. The flan was so good!!! The staff members were very friendly & professional. We will definitely go back.

Cozy, friendly and delicious

Had my mothers bday dinner and from the beginning we felt welcomed. Atmosphere is cozy and the outside room is amazing. The food is phenomenal and the fact that you can BYOB is even better. The restaurant can mix your choice of drink with delicious pitchers mixed with fresh fruits. Definitely coming back

Loved the place. So cozy and very good ambience. The food was ok too. The area where is located is a bit narrow and there is only street parking available.

Good cuban food in a quaint setting

Went here for date nights a few times because the food and ambience was that good. The food was well balanced and very tasty. I had the spicy chicken soup and my wife loved the plantains. The fish dishes are good and tasty as well as the salads. The place is small but cozy and it is best to make a reservation. Pa4king can be a hassle. So leave time to look for parking. Good for romantic dinners or a night out with friends. This is a BYOB establishment but you can get a bottle of local wine for purchase. Enjoy!!!

Lovely Cuban restaurant

Food is excellent in this trendy restaurant. For anybody that likes Cuban and Caribbean, Rebecca's is your place. A perfect place to spend an evening. Be sure to bring a good bottle of wine. The food, the service and the setting are outstanding. This is not our first visit, and quality remains high.

Great for a night out or a party

We've eaten at Rebecca's several times. I like the steak or the citrus salmon. As it is not a huge place, we booked a private party for 50 people there in July. It went very well and was simple to plan - selected shared appetizers, 3 entrée options, and shared desserts. The staff was friendly and took care of us well. I prefer not to use the valet so I park in the municipal lot about 1.5 blocks away (which is about to start charging unfortunately).

Lovely and delicious

Lovely restaurant. The staff is so sweet and helpful and the food is great. The guacamole is a must have. I really loved the Tuna and tried the snapper which was delicious too. Just a heads up that the black bean soup is the same as the black bean side, so try one or the other!
