You can order off the menu board....but don't!!! It's more fun to make it up. One of their expert salad makers walks you through the process, from leaf type to add-ons, to dressing. And there are plenty of them. All of the selections are great...and the salad is large enough even for a guy lunch!!!! Don't bother with the pita add on....soggy and unnecessary, the salad is enough. Today we decided to stop by Art of Salad for a light late lunch. The menu is endless with many options. The counter looks nice lots of fresh veggies on parade. We wanted something to share so we ordered a small salad along with a...whole chicken pesto sandwich. The server was friendly and quickly tossed up a nice salad. Our sandwich came out a bit later and being hungry we dove in. To our surprise we both discovered that out chicken pesto sandwich was lacking the main ingredient- chicken. The sandwich was steaming hot and tasted good but the chicken had flown the coop. When we returned the sandwich the Mgr apologized and quickly reordered our sandwich. From what we overheard our 1st sandwich was prepared by a new employee. Obviously, we couldn’t get angry stuff happens - Art of Salad was just having a bad day. My honey has been here before so we wrote it off as no big deal. If you’re looking for a good salad don’t hesitate to stop by. The service here is okay but the food was not amazing. The chicken in my salad didn't taste clean enough. I got lots of fat. Portions are very filling, and has a really nice atmosphere. I also didn't taste much dressing on my salad, as...well. Overall, I would not go again, mostly because of the unclean chicken and barely any dressing.More
They will make you any type of salad you want. You can call ahead or place an order on line. They also deliver. Everything is fresh.
Such a neat restaurant. In the Shop rite mall on 18 Night.Not large but everyone (staff and patrons were happy. Salads and topping great choices.Reasonable prices. This place has very nice workers, the owners are also very friendly. Salads are good, nothing amazing. Sandwiches are fine. Wish they would have a few more options, though build your own helps, it can just get pricey with their upcharges.
My daughter-in-law found this one and it is a great fine. This is a little one off salad place that makes unique salads. We have had many on the menu and all are great. We highly recommend this one,
I love their salad specials and occasionally come here to splurge on a salad. They have some of the best chopped salads I've ever had! I'm so glad I found this place. The soups are also interesting and pretty large.
Their food is delicious here; nice, healthy and fresh! My boyfriend and I have gotten "take out" a bunch of times- we love the turkey blt sandwich; I highly recommend you try that! The bread is thick and so is the turkey slices- comes with...avocado, lettuce, tomato, this amazing condiment and you have a choice of homemade sweet potato chips or kale chips. Anything from here is probably delicious. I also as a surprise had them deliver the other day to my boyfriend and his father and they were even quicker than what their time said they would deliver.
