I don't understand all the hype, this is just a typical Jersey diner. The decor needs some refreshing. It looks like the places I went to after a night of dancing at the clubs in the seventies. The food was good. My companions on a recent visit all enjpoyed their meals. The service however, was awful. The waiter seemed like... More

While shopping in the area, we stopped at the Tick Tock Diner in Clifton...the diner was jammed, people enjoying their breakfast...we had a friendly server named Lisa who was terrific...it's clear she enjoys working there! The meal was wonderful & if we're in the area, we'll certainly stop back there.

We were in the area for a wake and needed a drink and sandwich. The diner itself is very art deco and very clean, the chrome was sparkling! We each had a Corona which were pretty costly at $8.00 a bottle, I had the beef gyro which was awesome. It arrived hot, juicy and packed with lettuce, tomato, cukes and... More

Passed it many times, stop in last week after trip to NYC, hit the spot. Lots of choices, great service, classic diner ambience. Also just voted top two 24 hour diners in NJ.

Yummy but should have asked for the waffle fries as the steak fries are not crispy enough. Very clean and great service

Due west of NYC, big diner serving classic diner fare 24/7. Not unusual to see news crews stopping to eat there when the weather is the big event on the news. On premises baking: Cheescake is worth a try if you've never had it.

I've been going here for years, basically every time I pass thru NJ, and it's never failed me. It the usual diner fare, but better than most, and the portions are enormous. The daily specials are first rate and a big step up from the usual diner food. This time I had the ground steak with mushroom and onions and... More
