Staying in Cape May for a last minute getaway we went looking for a restaurant which needed to be close to the hotel and one which offered gluten free options. The Pier House fit the bill perfectly.. Again as it was last minute we worried about a table being available, we should have. One phone call was all it took... More

We ate here a couple of times for breakfast. Always way too much food! We couldn't eat all of it. It was really good, Has indoor and outdoor seating but the humidity was so high, we ate indoors. Wait staff very helpful in advising where to go and what to do in the vicinity.

This Greek restaurant is one of our favorites in Cape May and we eat there every time we visit the town. The watermelon and feta salad is one of my favorite dishes anywhere! The only negative is that, like many Cape May restaurants, it can be quite noisy.

Friend and I dine out a lot in Cape May, but had never tried this restaurant. We decided to check it out, and will definitely return with our spouses. We did not have reservations, but were seated immediately. There is a patio area outside, which was full, as well as a bar area and a large dining room, where we... More

Greek salad and scallop appetizers were average. Local oysters were very good as was the lamb shank. Bottle of wine ordered was not very good but was very pricey. At no time did staff react to our complaint or even offer to decanter the wine to give it a chance to open up

Influences on the menu. The Oom Bah (please excuse the spelling) is killer! My friends and I enjoyed the lamb pita, grouper sandwich and the tuna sandwich. Our cocktails were not the best in town but needless to say we drank them! Our server was very friendly and accommodated our requests like....more Oom Bah sauce please!

The service, location and decor are nice but the odor was unpleasant, by the window. Too many flies, later started to expire in the window. Avgo Lemono soup was inedible. Everything else was just passable. The bread, olive oil and olive hummus were the best part of the meal. Sticker shock when the drinks are $4-6 more than other restaurants... More

We ate there last week while in Cape May for the first time. We choose it because they had lamb shank on the menu and that is one of my husbands favorites! the atmosphere is very nice with white tablecloths etc, but yet not too fussy! Great service. I had the watermelon and feta salad, pricey for a salad but... More

This place is not affiliated with Le Mer, though it appears to be and is on its grounds (I think). It would do much bigger and better business if it were affiliated b/c then you'd be able to put food on your tab -- no need for wallet or cash. Same goes with beach service draw back. Now, about what... More

We've been here several times for dinner (great seafood and yummy Mediterranean items. Pier House is consistently good. This visit we stopped for breakfast on our way to the beach. It was a treat to be at Pier House during the day with the sun and sky visible across the way. (Usually is dark when we eat here!). Outdoor seating... More
