We went to the Saltwater Cafe (near The Lobster House) for my birthday breakfast during our trip to Cape May. They couldn't have been more accommodating and allowed me to choose a variety of items not normally served together as part of my allergy needs, and special celebration. The cod and hashbrowns should be on the regular menu!! Our server... More

Our usual oceanfront breakfast spot was closed for the season so we decided to try the Saltwater Café. The weather was ugly so there were few people out and about this particular morning. The café had plenty of available seating, we did not have to wait to be seated. The breakfast choices were interesting. We both ordered the groovy omelet.... More

We usually eat breakfast here almost everyday we are in Cape May. I get the eggs, ham, n home fries, and my wife gets the waffle. She said it's fantastic. The prices are very resonalble and the staff is friendly.

We ate breakfast here two days in a row, pretty unusual for us, as we don't often find a place where the experience is worth repeating. The pancakes were good and the whole grain toast was excellent; being able to order a bowl of fresh berries was great, and the orange juice was delicious, definitely not Minute Maid.

Stopped in for breakfast before whale watching. Great spot, good food and service. Service is very good but, kitchen can be slightly slow. Prices are fair. I would not go anyplace else. Also, it's in the South Jersey Marina so, it's nice to eat among the boats...

We found this place quite by accident after a long drive from the Wilmington area with our grand kids to visit Cold Spring Village. We had planned to have lunch at their much touted restaurant only to find it closed. Not happy. So off to Cape May it was. Wasn't in the mood for a long wait at the Lobster... More

Will dine here again. Beautiful view of the docks. Food was average. My husband had pancakes and sausage. I had a turkey club. Staff was attentive and friendly.

Ok so they serve breakfast all day but it was noon and I wanted lunch. The pear salad with the fresh catch of the day was what the doctor ordered. It filled me up and I didn't miss the side of fries my husband got with his sandwich. He got the Mediterranean wrap and was pleasantly surprised. There was a... More

We were traveling into Cape May for a long Getaway Weekend and discovered the Saltwater Cafe by accident and we are glad we did. We had a very tasty, appropriately priced and relaxing meal--we had "breakfast" for lunch. I had a very interesting Swiss, Tomato, Caramelized Onion & Baby Bella Mushroom Omelette w/a Fruit Cup & Toast. Our other meal... More
