2 trips to Aleatheas this trip. After a disastrous visit to The Inn last year, we were hoping to, at the least, enjoy this part of the history of Cape May again. First breakfast- a little nauseating to be offered a coffee cup with lipstick on it. Had the Lobster Eggs Benedict - 2 of us and one regular order-... More

After asking for a different table because eating dinner under the a/c vent was out of the question , we were moved to the back of the restaurant almost directly in front of a very busy&loud service station. As if we were being punished! Although there were MANY other more desirable tables available, we were in formed by a condescending&lofty... More

Not always the cleanest. Service and food good. Very busy. Outside seating is smoking. Kind of tough place for little kids. Some spots very cold from air conditioning.

We decided to eat here after walking by it and we weren't disappointed. Service and food were excellent. Location is nice, with outdoor, porch or inside dining.

Heard it was good, and maybe it is better if you sit inside and have a leisurely meal with a deliberate server. We opted for the outside porch which is first come and first serve, but did not realize that it featured only one overworked server. She did as well as she could, but our food was less than exciting... More

As a group we went for lunch to “Aleathea’s” after some of us finished swimming down at the beach just across the main street. We sat by their service screened window where people come up to get drinks from the bartender who takes their order and then hands them their drinks at the window. Many people are in their bathing... One of the most memorable dining experiences I've ever had. This charming restaurant is located inside the historic Cape May Inn. This restaurant truly took me to another place and time. The food was incredible. The roasted garlic that accompanied the bread was to die for. The house salad with dried cranberries and walnuts was delicious! I had the filet... More

Went for the first seating, what a bargain! 3 courses plus a glass of wine for $25. Pleasant porch seating with friendly service, too.

My wife and I decided to have a cocktail at their well appointed bar. We arrived at 4 P.M. to find that they offer 1/2 priced appetizers at the bar between 4 and 5 P.M. The cocktails, Manhattans, were made to perfection. We ordered the Mussels. The red sauce could have been thicker and prepared with more garlic. Otherwise, the... More
