Don't be surprised by the size of the restaurant - it really is that small, seating far fewer people than most restaurants. BE SURPRISED by everything else: * The menu is clearly written on the blackboard and identifies ingredients very well. * The menu is extremely varied, individually prepared, and simply amazing. * The prices are reasonable - not as... This quaint, small farm to table had very good food at reasonable prices. All four of us ordered seafood from crab cakes to salmon and flounder. The portion size was good and flavorful. There are about 8 entrees listed as well as some appetizers on a blackboard. The desserts were very good. The service was excellent and the food delivered... More

This was a delightful little restaurant. It's cash only and a BYOB. It's a farm to table business. I had the crab cakes with a Caesar salad. The restaurant is very small and I would recommend reservations. The staff were lovely. The crab cakes were very good with a nice flavor but not a real crab flavor. The romaine salad... More

Louisa's is everything that's going right about US small businesses. Will took great care to tell us about the store's history, the chocolates, and himself. He shared our giddy excitement over the chocolates, as if it was his first time there, too. It wasn't until half way through our conversation that we realized he is the owner. My friends and... My husband and I often go to Cape Msg for fabulous dinners but this one was a little disappointing. Service was great and the place is adorable but the soup and entrees were average. The leek and Gorgonzola bruschetta was fabulous but the blue fish was only ok snd the scallops were something I could have easily made at home.... More

Eight tables, cash only and farm to table offering not bad at all. Had the best potato and leek soup ever! A nice portion and so hot on a chilly Friday night! Excellent crab cakes. All crab and pretty sure no bread crumbs. So tasty for sure. Husband had a homemade fettuccini dish. A smaller portion but to his liking.... More

The food here is farm to table and it is very good. Mostly seafood throughout the menu. The dessert items are terrific but filling; you need to share.

A group of us had an early dinner here in September. The outside facade is darling with flowers climbing up over the yellow house with blue and white accent. Inside, the rooms are small but tables can be grouped together to accommodate a group. The decor is fun - fish on the walls. The food was very good, the service... More

We had a limited time in Cape May but were fortunate enough to get a last minute reservation at Louisa's, a special place that we really enjoyed more than twenty years ago when we regularly frequented Cape May. Excellent sea food dishes with perfectly complimentary salads and sides. Desserts to die for! Can't recommend Louise's Cafe more!!

We recently had dinner at Louisa's midweek. It was far busier than we expected for late September with only a few reservation slots available. We were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation time. The service was very good and so was the food. It is a small place and they pack you in. It's also pretty loud. We both... More

Description
Serving fresh simple seafood dishes here on Jackson Street since 1980. All our desserts are made right here each morning. Stop by the Chocolate Bar where we have the most delicious Artisan chocolate being made in the beautiful USA! Call for current hours. Our hostess is here at 4. We do not seat any children after 7pm - that is when we begin adult swim.

Have fun in Cape May and thanks for stopping by!
