MOBBED. it wasn't my cup of tea.they share their bathroom with the public areas and in December you can wait 40mins in line. The food was good but I really felt like a number, not a valued dinnerguest. And it's pricey.

We visit Cape May often, but have failed to visit the Blue Pig. Located in Congress Hall we thought it would always be too busy. On this particular Friday there were ample tables available and the dining experience was a good one. We both enjoyed a bowl of their New England Clam Chowder. We enjoy NE Clam Chowder wherever we... Six of us enjoyed a yummy brunch on Black Friday. Our waitress was wonderful and the food was very good. Loved the grits and eggs!

Nice simple menu, excellent food and service. Nice to see the Christmas decorations up. Everyone from the hostess to the servers seemed to work in harmony.

Located in the lobby of the Historic Congress Hall Hotel, the Blue Pig is both beautiful and comfortable. We were in town over Thanksgiving and made reservations for dinner. The wait staff seemed a little uncomfortable but was very sweet and kind. The food was wonderful from the salad to the traditional Turkey and dressing to the salted caramel cheesecake.... More

The service was the best part of this experience. Our server Kim was awesome! The room we sat in was gross and the food was surely not worth $45/person. Very dissatisfied.

My wife and I went for Thanksgiving dinner, Was busy but not crazy. Bread and water came quickly and then service went down hill from there. Busboys need to be retrained, walked by our dirty soup dishes for about 12 min . fireplace room very dark folks next to us had a small flashlight. Good food and good service should... More

Everything about dining at the Blue Pig was excellent ! The motif is simply wonderful and we loved the roaring fire place yesterday, a chilly day indeed. We began with a simply wonderful appetizer, beer battered calamari; the coating was delicate and super crunchy and the calamari was the most tender we had ever eated. The four of us ordered... More

Location was excellent along with the atmosphere. Menu somewhat sparse with few choices. Service was excellent and food was tasty but average.

We had dinner here on a Wednesday night in November and every seat was filled. The food was very good and most of the food comes from a local farm. The salad was very good with the fresh veggies. I had the scallops that are a weekly special and prepared according to the season. They were very good and cooked... More

Description
The Blue Pig Tavern serves American cuisine-nostalgic, simple and fresh. Executive Chef Jeremy Einhorn has implemented a delicious farm-to-table menu featuring fresh produce, herbs and eggs from our very own Beach Plum Farm, located less than 2 miles from the restaurant! In the warmer months, dine on our wonderful, secluded patio. In the cooler months, cozy up to our magnificent dining room fireplace. The Blue Pig Tavern drives its name from a gambling parlor sited at Congress Hall in the mid 1800's. Earlier still, in the 1700s, Elias Hughes operated a tavern for whalers on this site. It was the first tavern in Cape May.
