The lobster tails look like they're on steroids--HUGE--but it's because they're from Northern Australia. And they're tender and sweet. Order them with browned butter, you won't regret it. If you have never been here do not arrive at dinner time with hungry children thinking you're going to get right in. Put your name in, walk around the wharf, sit on... More

Love going to the Lobster house and eating outside from the take out. Love the main restaurant too. Had take out twice in a three days and it was great. My young nephews enjoyed eating outside by the water. I also enjoyed the crab finger and shrimp tray that we took home the next night. Always consistent, never a disappointment!

Ate on the back deck as opposed to inside the restaurant. Food was delicious, service was fast for how busy they were. Parking was very difficult but definitely a small obstacle to overcome. I would recommend a visit to this restaurant to anyone in the Cape May area on vacation.

We have been coming to the Lobster House every year for almost 50 years. It is our favorite for down the shore. Never had a bad meal here and always a great atmosphere.

Ok, it has been years since I have been in Cape May and I have had fond memories of the Lobster House but you can't relive the past. I went back two times, trying to tell myself, the moment wasn't right but it was a colossal waste of time. If you are trying to relax and get good food I... More

There are several places to get food here. The restaurant is okay but I prefer outside on the deck. Order at the Take Out area (same area to buy fresh fish) or at the Raw Bar, in the back . Look to get a ticket with a number at the counter when you first come in..it helps with crowd control!... More

Went for lobster and were not disappointed. Yummy. Bustling restaurant on commercial fishing dock. We chose inside air conditioned vs outside. Good value.

Over the past couple of years, I've noticed the food is not getting better. We waited 40 minutes for the first dinner seating. They begin at 4:30. The crock of clam chowder had no flavor, minced clams and only two potatoes in it. The appetizer of bacon wrapped scallops ($10 for 2) was very good. I ordered the dinner special... More

Have eaten here before, was very good. I would not recommend this restaurant at this time. Seems to have become a tourist trap. Meal was mediocre at best, the chef seems more concerned with food cost as opposed to food quality. Eat somewhere else and avoid the wait.

Coming from the Midwest where lobster is more of a delicacy, we really enjoyed having a delicious seafood along the pier. Go early for good seating!
