If you are in Atlantic City, it is so worth the drive to Brigantine for fresh pastry at Aversa'/s. The cream doughnuts are huge and really good, not that cloying sweet stuff that you need a gallon of milk to wash the sugar out of your tastebuds. The cannoli are terrific too. I've read some poor reviews online and all... More

Was very surprised at the "CASH ONLY" sign on the front door. Is this some new thing? Another business not paying their taxes like Manco's in O.C.? Why can I use a credit card at every other Aversa's - just not in Brigantine in the summer?????

Aversas have some of the best Italian bread and subs in the AC area. It's now our go-to place in the AC area and I highly recommend it.

Very glad I did. Wanted to surprise the family with a treat while on vacation and stumbled upon Aversa's. Nice bakery, good sweets, will definitely stop again

Several people said to go here so of course I did! Friendly & helpful staff with quick service. There is a great variety from bagels, fancy cookies, whole cakes, cupcakes, Danish & so much more! Everything is fresh & so good. I tried a whole chocolate cake (was bought for me as a gift) that was so chocolatie & good,... More

A vacation MUST every stay on Brigantine. We buy bread, pastry, sauce, stromboli, caprese salad makings and whatever else catches our eye. Delicious! The staff are so friendly and helpful. I can't review this as a restaurant as we take our goodies to our vacation home.

Wonderful full service bakery. Also have many good options for takeout salads, pizza etc. Bakery offerings are superior. Everything is delicious. One of the few places in Brigantine worth spending your money.

Aversa's is a small chain in South Jersey, and the one in Brigantine is open year round with baked goods, hoagies, breads and prepared foods. They have quite a lot to offer, but don't forget it's cash only here in Brig! The seeded rolls are a must when ordering a hoagie, and Aversa's makes them fresh. They have a variety... More

Bread, cakes, desserts, donuts, breakfast sandwiches, Stromboli and tons more. You name it they have it and everything is delicious. Unexpected company? Make one trip to Aversa's for all of your culinary favorites, you won't be sorry. Why cook when you have Aversa's around the corner.
