Great meal for take out for a large group!

Had a great take out from here the other night. It was a large order of both sushi and hot, cooked items. I called the order in about 2 hours ahead of time for a 5pm pick up. The food was very fresh and the assorted sushi tray was arranged beautifully. And the sushi was some of the best I’ve ever had. The meal was great for a larger crowd and Wasn’t too expensive. Highly recommended!

Ikko at Home

We ordered our usual stiff from ikko but for a change we got it to go. I got multiple different sushi rolls including the spicy tuna roll, Beatles roll, fire phoenix roll and a few others. My wife got the filet mignon hibachi dinner and my son got the chicken hibachi dinner.

Various family members have a like of Oriental food cuisines. Ikko is frequented often to celebrate birthdays within our local family tree The chairside hibachi preparations are works of knofe skill art and highly entertaining for all age ranges. The food is plentiful and tasty, with proteins cooked to liking.

Montezuma's Revenge

Three of us ate there on Saturday and it to varied times for Montezuma's Revenge to kick in, but it did kick in for each one of us. All of us had the Hibachi meal either chicken or Steak and Shrimp. I'm not sure whether it was the rice or the noodles but something did not agree with out digestive tracts and we paid the price. It is a very interesting and fun way to enjoy a meal and I'm not sure what caused our sickness but I can't imagine returning here. There is ample parking because it is in a mall and the service was fine.

The best thing about this place is that I was seated right away in the dining room. I’m on a business trip alone and didn’t want the hibachi bar, but the food and service may have been better. My server, Tammy and I only know that from catching her name tag when she brought my check. She never looked at me and practically tossed my food on the table as she ran off. She didn’t check to see if I needed anything after tossing me my bento box. The teriyaki salmon tasted watered down. Not sure where the teriyaki was on this order. I would say my expectations were higher than what was delivered.

Good Japanese Food With Excellent Service

I love coming to Ikko and have been here many times over the past years and have always had an excellent dinner with great service. Last evening my wife and I stopped in for hibachi. She ordered the steak and I ordered the chicken hibachi. Our hibachi chef was very good and very entertaining. He was very skilled. My wife indicated that her steak was very good. My chicken was very tough and rubbery. It was very difficult to chew. Everything else was very good. I imagine that we have been to Ikko at least 25 times over the years and this was the first meal that was so so. The restaurant was very clean, there was hand sanitizer for guests and all the staff wore masks. I will be back again.

Pretty Standard Really

I just had the Hollywood Roll in that I was in a hurry. The shrimp tempura inside was fine, if not a tad drab. Maybe the hibachi is better.

Make the trip to Ikko!

So glad we looked in Tripadvisor for a restaurant near Lakewood, Nj because Ikko came up as it's in a nearby town. The restaurant is attractive and the service friendly and caring. We ordered their steak and sushi Bento boxes and both were delicious! Next time we're in that neighborhood we'll try their maki and hibachi. So happy we went there!

This Japanese/ hibachi Restaurant is absolutely delicious. We have been going here for years and always experience a great meal with fast and friendly service. Lots of options from sushi, to dinners to hibachi demonstration. Always fresh and flavorful! Can’t wait to return, as always.

Great Hibachi!

I was recently at Ikko with my family and we were not disappointed.This is one of the better Hibachi restaurants I have been to. The portions are very generous, the food is cooked well and of course the entertainment is lots of fun! We were there on a night when there was a children's birthday party going on in the main dining room which made for a rather noisy environment, but nevertheless, it was lots of fun and so delicious. Highly recommended!

My favorite Restaurant - Best Japanese food ever SUSHI FRESH!!!!

by far the best Sushi and Hibachi Steakhouse I have ever been to, and I have been to many. The management and Ownership take great pride in their service, food presentation, and the care they take for their diners. The guys at the Sushi bar are the best (Thanks Jacky). Their preparation is so beautiful, you will not want to eat it until you have taken your Insta photos for Bragging rights. It is a "Bring Your Own: Restaurant, which makes it more cost effective in the adult beverage department. Try this place you will not be sorry. make a reservation as it can be very busy on the weekends (and some weeknights) Cons: There is Massive Construction going on in the Plaza, parking can be tight, certainly worth the walk. Kodos to Jerry, Boh, John & Eric - You guys are the best - Thank you for treating everyone like family.

Great Japanese/ Hibachi

My family loves Chinese/ Japanese food, so when we discovered Ikko, we thought we’d go and see how good it was. First of all, it is an very cheery place. Very clean as well. The staff couldn’t be more solicitous if they tried. Then. The food came. Oh my! The rolls are so freshly made and are filled with flavorful combinations. We enjoyed the sweet potato. Avocado and shrimp tempura rolls. For our entree, we had the filet mignon hibachi and chicken hibachi. Over generous portions of delicious food filled our cravings to the hilt! Each meal comes with a dynamite salad dressed in ginger dressing. The Miso soup is good too. If you go, make sure that your stomach is empty, because I guarantee you will be bringing some home!
