We stumbled on this restaurant while visiting NJ and we’re very happy. We were looking for a family restaurant and this was exactly that. Good food. Nice staff. EXCELLENT cannoli.
I have Celiac Disease and wanted to try this restaurant last night. I have read great reviews on how careful this place is for celiacs. It’s so true! I spoke to the manager, who has Celiac and prepares the food. He totally understands! I ordered...a pizza steak. They use Conte gf rolls. Very delicious! Their menu is huge for gf items. This will now be our go-to place. It is such a pleasure not to be sick on your birthday from eating at a restaurant. Thank you!More
We were in the mood for Pizza so decided to try Palermo's. I ordered a large pizza with extra cheese and garlic. I also ordered a small Calzone. The pizza was excellent. Thin crust, good cheese, good sauce, and perfectly cooked. the Calzone was also...good with good dough and plenty of cheese. We may have found our new Pizza spot!More
Pizza was really good on Saturdays its2 for 20 the service was outstanding waitress recommended we get one at a time so they would be hot
Palermo's has very good food and they are consistent. Unfortunately it took an hour and a half to deliver (their estimate was 45min!).
When my gluten free daughter visits, she always gets pizza from Palermo's, which she says has the best gluten free pizza in the area.
This pizza place came recommended from hotel staff. They were right on! Fast food delivery, reasonable prices, and true NY style pizza. Excellent.
First let me start with I have a gluten sensitivity so I know that the “gluten free” pizza and breads and such are not always the best but Palermo’s gluten free is the worst I’ve ever had hands down. They try to make you feel...like they tried by putting it in on its own tray and they don’t cut it so they give you a disposable pizza cutter unfortunately you don’t need it because it was inedible. The crust didn’t look or taste like it was even cooked so I put it back in my oven (which certainly defeats the purpose of ordering delivery and not having to cook) but nothing helped I ate the cheese and threw away the entire crust. Now I know you’re going to say well yes it’s gluten free what do you expect but I have tried other pizzas and they were pretty good in fact for all of you looking for a great gluten free crust go down the road and get dominos (yes dominos they are delicious even though I feel as if my Italian ancestors roll in the grave when I get dominos ) They rest of my order was not gluten free but basically it also got thrown away. It was the worst buffalo chicken salad and mozzarella sticks ! I had a very costly bag of garbage going out the next day. Palermo’s is definitely off my list of places to eat in or order from. Bordentown has plenty of other options and I would recommend any of them over Palermo’sMore
Palermos has been our favorite go to restaurant for 20 Years. They have the best real Tomato pie and whatever we order is wonderful. We order white pie when we want a change. Their entrees are delicious. The wait staff and the owners are friendly...and accommodating and they accept requests. It is a place to have a shower, special party, work affair. BYOB and expect to get stuffed!More
Sure they serve some of the usual fare but Palermo's is not just another pizza joint. They dinner specials are fantastic. My family loves the chicken Palermo as much as the chocolate pizza. All the dinners are great. The traditional Trenton Tomato Pie is delicious....We highly recommend it be topped with pepper and onion. The owner is usually in the store. He and the staff are very friendly and attentive. The whole place has been refurbished. Enjoy!More
Palermo’s is one of my favorite pizza places since I moved to the area 17 years ago. The tomato pie is excellent, especially with garlic. The chicken scampi is my favorite dish by far. This dish is uncommon and hard to find at restaurants. Even...if I do find it somewhere it’s never as good as Palermo’s. It’s always a must order!More
A couple I know recently told me Palermo’s was their favorite pizza place in Mercer County so I gave it a shot. I ordered the Summer pizza which is advertised as having fresh tomatoes, fresh basil, and olive oil. I expected visible basil leaves but...instead I got what you see in the attached picture. The basil is mixed with chopped tomatoes which made it taste like bruschetta (not a bad thing) but as you’ll see, the topping wasn’t distributed evenly. This is always disappointing to me. As for the pizza itself, I wasn’t impressed. The crust was terrible. It was bland and just got thrown in the trash. Won’t be going back.More
The best tomato pie I ever had , good service ,friendly people , clean place to eat. No one can come close to their tomato pie. A few days a week they have Buy 1 get 1 offers.
My brother and I took an impromptu trip to Palermo's for lunch. I haven't been since the renovations were completed. The food is wonderful as always, and the new renovations are really beautiful! We had a long, leisurely lunch and had time to catch up....It was a delightful afternoon!More
