Located in the middle of Bordentown with its own parking lot. Excellent and very creative menu. Friendly wait staff and music some nights, check their website. Blue cheese mussels were great!

We regularly go in to Bordentown for dinner but had never tried Jester's Cafe so we thought we would finally give it a try. Interior is kind of dated and definitely has a funky, musty smell inside. It's a small place and the limited seating area really packs tables together. Our waitress was really friendly but was unfamiliar with the... More

Food was good, young, inexperienced waiter was trying his best. When the food took over an hour to come out of the kitchen, the manager(?s) did nothing to support their staff. Instead, blamed all problems on their poorly run system. Too bad.

No support for larger groups. Manager indifferent to the needs of customers. Young wait staff not ready for summer crowds.

The four of us went there last week (Tues night). We had the Fried Calamari and it was very disappointing. The presentation was not appealing at all but most of all, it was overcooked. Overcooked squid is rubber bands. I had the Eggplant Parmigiana Double-stacked, breaded, & pan-fried eggplant stuffed with mozzarella cheese & fresh basil, topped with tomato sauce,... More

Why my title includes Parking, Bordentown has great places to eat but parking is so bad that makes one not want to go into the town and enjoy the foods. The daughter suggested Jester's Cafe for their mom's birthday meal. As usual the parking came up and Jester's had parking. What a pleasure to find a place to park. In... More

Great little place to eat my boy friend and I after talking to our friend amanda who raved about the wine and food we just had to go there. Turns out you can find good italian food right here in New Jersey that doesn't make it seem like your paying the restaurant to fly there and get it. Met the... More

Great restaurant to eat at for all occasions. I have been in Jester's a couple times now and every time is better then the next. They do it all there and the staff is great the way they know the menu and the chefs actually from italy and know what food is supposed to taste like incredible.

From the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted like Family! The atmosphere is warm and congenial. The service is consistently outstanding and the food is fabulous! The "Eggplant in Carrozza" is superior, but order as an appetizer to save room for any of the House Specialties. Our personal favorites, Chicken Chassura and Frutti Di Mare...A1! Which ever... More
