One of the areas fixtures Pizzas are one of their signature entrées, but the dinner menu offers so much more and the specials always offer surprises Get there early as the crowd can be daunting...it is worth it

Felt welcomed as soon as we got here. Terry had a large Saturday crowd under control and at tables in no time at all. Delicious food, quick and knowledgeable waitstaff, and an overall lovely evening. Pizza is really as good as they say.

We had a quick lunch today at the RT. The food, service are always outstanding. Today we had a grilled octopus salad (incredible, loved it so much we ordered another portion to take home), a seafood special of red snapper and a small (they jest if they thought it was small) clam and garlic pizza. The food is just too... More

Could have used a little more sauce and could have been heated a little more. Have been here before; always decent.Has been there for 80 years. There are those who claim... More

Love the shrimp calabrese! Ask for it over pasta and have it as dinner! Always a great value and lots of delicious choices!

The atmosphere is casual but comfortable. The service is amazing. And the food,,,my husband and I have probably gone through the whole extensive menu and never been disappointed. The shrimp calabrese is to DIE for...its my favorite:-)

The food at the Tavern is great! Someone talked about the wait, and it is busy, so get there early. It is a small restaurant, and doesn't look like much, but the food is amazing!

If you have heard about the wait...then you have heard right. Yes, you will wait and its mostly worth its weight in the gold equivalent of pasta marinara. When traveling with those who are native to NYC and NJ, its best not to argue Italian food with them. For good reason, they know some very good places to eat, fancy... More
