What a delightful place! I visited a few times over this summer and was consistently impressed. I've ordered a few noodle dishes and a selection of appetizers now, and I'm very happy with the flavors, presentation, and variety of vegetarian options. All servers I met...have been welcoming, kind, and friendly. The default food is very spicy, and it's exactly how I like it. Not mouth on fire, but definitely feeling the heat! But they are more than willing to work with you on spice level, offering a toned-down version first and bringing additional spices to the table if you want to kick up the heat. Definitely a gem - be sure to check it out!More

My wife and I were visiting friends overnight in Boonton. For dinner, they suggested this Thai place that they have gone to frequently. I had eaten Thai food twice before (Thai Pad) and my wife had never tasted Thai food before. The other couple recommended...an excellent vegetable chicken dish for her (all I remember is that it was E22 on the menu). It was a large portion and I finished it for my wife. Lots of fresh crsipy vegetables and fruit (red pepper, pineapple, water chestnuts, carrots) in a mild sauce. I had the Thai Pad w/chicken. It tasted a little different from what I had before, but it was good. We all thought the food was a little on the salty side. One of the couple with us had the Tom Kha Gai soup. She loves it and brought it home because she was too full. We had appetizers (Satay 4 skewers, pork dumplings, and curry puffs. They were tasty and one of the appetizers also came with a chopped tomato and cucumber mini salad. The staff was very attentative and refilled our glasses of water and cups of tea several times without asking. We were there at about 6 PM on a Saturday night and initially, only one table was filled. It gradually got busier and when we called earlier for reservations, we were told they were only necessary if you were coming later (around 7:30 PM or later). We enjoyed our meals and would definitely consider eating here again when visiting our friends in Boonton.More

My wife had been going to this restaurant for 17 years. We particularly enjoyed the curry and tamarind dishes with scallops, beef or pork. This is a BYOB restaurant which is a plus. But sadly, the last 3 times we went there the food was...just too salty. It seems like their previous chef retired and this new one pours the salt. The dishes are also very expensive. The atmosphere is good.More

I was going to go to lunch up the street but the music was death defying loud and I couldn't get waited on. I remembered this place so came here. Haven't been here since one of son's birthdays a few years ago. I was the...only person in the place. The same lady was cutting veggies when I came in. I ordered Chicken Pad Preek and she brought chile on the side so I could add my own 'hot.' My lips were numb (but in a good way) after I finished. It was served with an excellent salad with peanut sauce (I think) which was also terrific. Enjoyed it and took some home. They have always been nice here, our family used to come here a lot.More

The food was fine, nothing to really make me go crazy to go back. The servers were polite but not as quick as you would hope.

Upon entering the restaurant I spoke in Thai to the pretty middle aged manager. She answered me in fluent Thai whereupon I told her that she passed the test. Many so called "Thai restaurants" in the US aren't Thai. There are Chinese restaurants that think...they can cook Thai food but they just don't know how. We kept our orders simple. I ordered Phad Thai with shrimp and Ellen ordered a curry. Our waitress would not separate the chilles from our orders; we had to specify the degree of heat and they did follow through with our wishes exactly. I was not able to eat all of my Phad Thai so she returned that in a box for me to use latter. She never ask; she just did it. Good food; great service! We said our goodbyes in Thai with a big smile; of course. A delightful dinning experience... so many thanks.More
