Fresh food that is very flavorful. Staff is colorful with a good sense of humor. Families are welcome and you will not be disappointed in the creativity of the meals. You will not go wrong eating here. Will go back again.

When walking around at the Farmer's Market in Montclair about a month ago, I spotted their food truck. Now I have been really wanting to taste their Mexican since at least one year now. I had the most delicious pork tacos with salsa verde , it was as if I was on a street in any little Mexican town. They... More

I have been here several times and have never been disappointed in the food or service. I love the salad and the chicken quesadillas. It's small but very inviting and comfortable.

The food is some of the best Mexican I've ever had, but the service is the worst I've ever had. I've been there a couple times and then remember seeing a restaurant stakeout show from food network on tv. I decided to stop by again and this time I called. The owner answered and said hold one a minute. Then... More

All the tables on this tiny very casual Mexican Restaurant were taken and there was also takeout business. So they must be doing something right. The steak in our Tacos was outstanding. The duck Tacos was also very good. If you like Mexican food give it a try!!! We had the misfortune to go during Bloomfield restaurant week. When only... More

Good food ... Service okay .... Portion okay ... a little pricey for Mexican ... El Matador still my favorite and it's closer to where I live

I recently reviewed a Mexican restaurant I was no so crazy about, making a comparison to having really great Mexican elsewhere. My first choice would still be a place on the beach in Tumum, Mayan Riviera, but when I can't have that we do love Taqueria Autentica. It is a tiny place and can get loud and busy, but the... More

No frills decor but the best tacos around. Can not wait to go back. Nice gracious owner. Worth the trip if you like great flavor. Bring a beer or 2 to compliment your tacos.

This isn't your basic Mexican restaurant. It's not heavy on cheese and overly sauced items. It is authentic and fresh. There's a great variety and anyone looking for a new take on Mexican would appreciate this place.
