Three words - Friday Night Chicken. Their Friday night specials typically consist of a number of Italian chicken dishes and they’re fantastic. The quantity of chicken is enough to last 2-3 meals and the sauces are delish. Their other diner standards are typical diner fare, but those specials really stand out.
My one issue? Salad dressings are served in packets. But I’ll let that slide.

This is an iconic diner inside and out. It has been expanded in the back with some of the original design of stalls and counter left up front. Cooking is done in a separate kitchen in the back.
The menu is printed on both sides of a paper place-mat. There is plenty to choose from morning through evening. We had breakfast. The eggs and potatoes arrived well done and a bit dry, and the toast was crispy with a touch of butter.
Service was OK for order taking, but little more. There were three wait staff and about half the tables occupied. Upon arriving there was no greeting. We wandered around to find a table. Our orders were taken quickly but with little more than a Hi. Food arrived as described, coffee topped off and then the check followed.
This was the routine we witnessed during our 45 minute stay.
Like the food the service was just OK.

This place is convenient for a quick bite should you have reason to be in the area. Prices are a bit high compared to similar establishments in NJ. My cheeseburger was cooked as ordered and the fries were excellent, but the price of $15 seemed a little steep. Perhaps that's why the business was so slow for noontime on a Friday (not the 13th).

Good food and service but prices have increased by at least 35% in 3 months. A steak was $9.99 now $23.00, club sandwich was $7.99 now $13.00. All the town regulars have left. This is a diner in a small small town that was a meeting place for Locals for over 45 years. New owner fixed old diner up very nice, and the patrons are paying for it. It’s a shame another local place is going to be lost. There is no glamour to warrant the increase in prices. I guess no more Fun family dinners. Two sandwiches with an ice tea $40.00. Dales deli across the street Is as good but take out. I guess we will take out and find a park bench.

I'll be blunt. the prices are too high for a diner in the middle of nowhere. I ordered a basic Ham & Egg Breakfast which was $12.95. I got 2 eggs done as ordered but the potatoes were over ripe and gray in color with a vinegary flavor. They should have been trashed. The Ham was 1 single slice of round deli ham. Coffee was not included in the price and that added $3.50 to the bill. I mean come on this is not starbucks. It was like mud! My wife had a short stack of 2 pancakes which was $6.95 They were the one good thing on the menu. She would have enjoyed a side of corn beef hash but they wanted $ 9.50 just for a side. That was almost as much as whole breakfast. You can buy a whole can of hash for $3 in the supermarket. Our bill ended up at $26. As much as a good lunch and the most expensive breakfast I've had in a long time. There is nothing fancy about the joint either but at least we had a good waitress.

I was out in Blairstown, NJ on Friday the 13th to visit the Blairstown and Friday the 13th Museums. Both were closed that day (which was a bummer) much to the disappointment of many of the people visiting the town. I passed the Blairstown Diner that had been in the film for about five minutes but still popular with fans. I have to say that the two times before that I ate here the food was really good and this time did not disappoint. The food and service were both very good and the people working here could not have been nicer.
I had a Cowboy Burger with Cheddar, Bacon and Onion rings with a side of French Fries and everything was delicious. The burger was cooked perfectly and it was a nice sized portion. I thought for a Friday the 13th the place would have been overwhelming but it had a nice crowd and the meal was well paced.
There were a lot of Jasons and Freddie Crugers walking around the restaurant which was fun to see. What was nice about eating lunch here is that the fans were so excited to be eating here and that was fun to see. It is a real experience to come to the diner on Friday the 13th. They also sell tee-shirts and menus and I was surprised that they did not Jason desserts as there was not much on the menu.
Overall the food is really good here and the burgers are excellent and the vibe of the film and the excitement of being here makes people happy. We need a little of that these days.
Great job with lunch!

I am Michael and I was very fortunate to receive the best professional and super kind service from your worker Shannon. I work with people myself and I can see how this type of the customer service (especially in the hospitality) is unfortunately missing. That is why when you all of a sudden see worker like Shannon you can't believe how such an experience can multiple the quality of the restaurant much higher.

This is an old staple in the area known for Friday the 13th film. The food was OK but way overpriced. The atmosphere was "diner"

Each time we've dined there, they've consistently overcharged us, exceeding the prices listed on the menu. Furthermore, we've experienced extended waiting times for our food.

I have been here a few times and yes, I am a huge Friday the 13th fan. I love that the diner pretty much looks the same as it did in the early 1980s! Great food and great service — and fun knowing that it was featured in that movie that scared the crap out of us all in 1980! The cheesesteak and french onion soup was delicious.

Expensive unremarkable food and lackadaisical service. Claim to fame is Nightmare Elm Street - they sell merch if you’re a fan.

I was in town for the Camp Crystal Lake Tour not too far from this restaurant. Had to make a stop at this restaurant while in town!
It was a very enjoyable dinner visit, with a customized menus and decorations for Friday the 13th fans, not to mention souvenirs.
They even put a map up for Friday the 13th fans to pin where they are from.
I ordered the 'Steve Christy' from the menu, which was a turkey wrap, with fries. Delsh.
For those pondering whether or not to go the the Crystal Lake tour on a future Friday the 13th...do it! Most of the movie was filmed there, and you can see all the original locations/sites. Even Tom Savini was there!
