Living locally we have numerous choices of restaurants to pick from. So we decided to go here for the first time in 20 years. Service was nonchalant. I always judge service on how my water glass is kept full. Unfortunately it wasn't. Food was very good though and the size of the entrées were huge. The onion soup was delicious,... More

I was pleasantly surprised since I'm not really into spicy foods how amazing this restaurant was! They do rate the spiciness of things so you know to be careful if something may bother you. I have to say my favorite thing was the alligator sausage with creole mustard dipping sauce. It was so delicious! Also the blackened steak bites were... More

Not your typical Cajun restaurant. Freshest fish. Blackened bites or main dishes are delicious, great sauces! You must try the baked red snapper. We keep coming back for more!

We have been customers for over 10 years. Food is so tasty, and spicy and dishes are rated so that you know how spicy (hot)the dinner will be before you order. The baked red snapper is excellent. Tuna bites are a great appetizer or dinner. We have enjoyed the tuna and pork chops and have never been disappointed. The wait staff... More

Got lucky and sat on porch. Service was excellent and all diners seemed happy. Appetizers were brought out quickly. Entrees a bit to early but fine with us. Delicious deserts! Diner for four with tip $216. Well worth it. Had drinks beforehand across the street under the tents. Well worth the stop. Will be returning!

Went for an early Father's Day celebration dinner. It's tiny but worth the wait. My family and I love this place, especially the roasted garlic and and warm bread and anything blackened!

Since Bayou Cafe went out of business we've been going to Drew's Bayshore Bistro whenever we're in the mood for cajun food. Friends suggested we try Ragin' Cajun and we went with great expectations. We LOVE cajun cuisine: we travel to Louisiana regularly and cook it at home all the time. The outdoor tables and the friendly, attentive service were... More

So sorry we didn't meet your expectations. Some of our dishes differ from your traditional louisiana fare, especially the étouffée. The holy trinity you were looking for is in both the creole and jambalaya. As far as spice goes.. Everyone seems to have their different confort levels. For most the jambalaya is considered spicy. Hopefully you let your server know... More

This is our third time eating at Ragin' Cajun. It's a delicious treat! Everything we've tried so far is delicious! Our favorite is the lobster macaroni and cheese! It far exceeds expectations for this dish. The lobster bisque is also phenomenal! We will be back!!

As a local I had frequented the Dragon Cajun often, I also knew Tracy when she opened. I'm happy to say that while I haven't been there in a year the food was still as good as I remember Tracy making. Good job!

I've been going here for almost 20 years. Although the owner, Tracy, passed away, the restaurant survives and is just as good. I've been to NOLA and can tell you this is as good as many restaurants there; it truly tastes like NOLA food. Great menu, specials, live music, there is nothing bad about this place.
