We had a lovely dinner at East of Suez. The atmosphere is casual. We love that it is BYOB. There are many unusual appetizers to choose from. We had Asian dumplings. My husband had the Pad Tai which he enjoyed and I had the Japanese Tempura. The shrimp and vegetables had a light coating of breading with a flavorful dipping... More

While things can go slowly, the wait is worth it, and since it is a BYOB spot, diners can bring libations to enjoy in between courses. The food is authentic pacific rim and tasty. One does not have to dress up here, which is nice for a vacation spot.

If you want a ton of flavor and a meal that will leave you completely satisfied, this is the place. On a night where my wife and I wanted something unique, we were pleasantly pleased with our meals. In a town filled with traditional cafes and diners, this restaurant offers something tasty and bold.

Service was strange...waitress spoke English badly and offered no menu assistance. She also insisted on sticking her thumbs into the food when serving. The food was OK but only OK. My Thai red curry with scallops had one scallop sliced into 3 and 4 smallish shrimp. It was not worth $22 for what was mostly sauce with too many onions... More

The red curry was especially good. Fun place that lets you bring your own wine and beer. Very cordial service.

It wouldn't be summer in Wolfeboro without a dinner or two at East of Suez. They are only open for maybe 10 weeks, so don't let summer go by without making reservations. Relaxing atmosphere. Delicious and interesting dishes. BYOB.

This place has been here forever, and we have heard about people going there and raving about it for years, but this was our first visit. So our friends made reservations for 5:45, saying that if you don't go early they sometimes are out of their daily specials. My first impression was that the restaurant is much bigger than I... As we approached this interesting restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised on how it transported us to the Asian rim. Our waitstaff was informative and very pleasant answering our questions. Most of us had something different for dinner and we all really enjoyed the entrees. I would definitely go back again

Food good, price a little high. Great atmosphere, would not recommend on a very hot day ( no air conditioning).

What a find in seemingly rural New Hampshire! I know that Wolfeboro is reasonably upscale, but never expected such a great dinner. Interesting decor, we had a great table by the window, fun staff in (my favorite) Hawaiian shirts. Our server was a little “green”, but a nice kid, very attentive. Interesting, innovative “eastern” menu, with Pad Thai and other... More
