On a busy holiday night, La Hacienda was the place to be. Outdoor dining, overlooking the small lake/pond, live music in the square, etc. Very reasonably priced menu. Generous portions. Lots of selections. Tasty food. Good ingredients. Is it as good as what I can...get in NM? No, but very appealing and great for New England. Responsive service. Given all of the challenges with supply chains, staffing, COVID, etc., around the country, this place overcomes. Thank you!!More

The food we ordered on New Years Eve was shockingly bad. Simple ingredients yet executed so poorly. The guacamole appetizer was $12 but it was a scoop of brown guacamole with mostly shredded lettuce to add to the green colors to fool you. The chips...were so bad….1/2 were burnt to a crisp and just tasteless and very brittle… The pulled pork burrito was not pulled but looked like chunks of stew meat and totally lacked flavor. The green enchilada was watery and tasteless. The rice served with the burrito and beef tacos had an indescribable odd taste & texture….We had kids with us and one wanted mozzarella sticks so we ordered them but they were so bad that they might have ruined mozzarella sticks for our family forever. The staff was super friendly and helpful but the food they serve is totally unacceptable and mostly inedible. Our friends who live locally warned us that the food wasn’t good but we decided to try since the pizza place was shut down and we thought how badly could you screw up Mexican but whatever this was is not worthy of being called Mexican. Sad….More

The restaurant has limited the number of tables they will seat to maintain a high level of service. We had nachos, fajitas, and steak tacos. Everything was great. Ordered a margarita that was clearly made with a mix, but it was fine. Service was great,...food came out surprisingly quick.More

After being seated it took one hour and forty minutes before the food arrived. The rice and beans were cold. The worst dining experience of my life

Came in here for a dinner with my two sons on a weeknight. The place was mainly empty except for a few people sitting at the bar. Upon our entrance the guy serving at the bar obviously wasn't looking for more work that night, he...said we could sit anywhere but failed to make any effort to find us a place to sit. I took it upon myself to string together a few seats at the bar for us, which didn't work very well for us. After sitting at the bar for about 10 minutes and failing to have a menu brought to us or any sort of acknowledgement from him that we would like to order some food and eat, we decided to take off. The pizza place across the way was much more accommodating.More

I love mexican restaurants, and it's tough to screw up a meal at one. We arrived for dinner, in a large empty restaurant we were seated directly next to another table of diners (I don't care, but for social distancing... Why???) Was never given menus....After 17 minutes, bartender asked if we were ready to order. He then stood there and waited for us to come up with an order last minute which we got by googling their menu right there on the spot. Whaaaat???? Then, AFTER we order, the guy tries to talk us out of what we ordered by telling us about the specials. He disappears for 20 minutes. I finally am able to flag him down and ask where my margarita is. I see him then go make my "premium" $14 margarita with Jose cuervo storebought mix. Finally brings it. Not great. Whatever I'm over the place at this point. Next my buddy gets his soup. Ordered tortilla soup. Gets chicken soup. Tries to send it back. Waiter argues that it's the same thing just without tortilla strips. False, the menu says made with a red base and has chips and cheese over it. He comes back 5 minutes later with the same soup, and some Chinese restaurant soup noodles. There ya go. Then he brings dinner. Tortillas on the side are served on a lovely chinese food take out container LID... Not even a plate. Food was 2/10. Tables around us were desperately trying to flag down any servers at all to get their checks as it seems they just abandon your table after giving you food. Definitely not going back.More

After a day of XC skiing or biking, we had planned to drive into Plymouth for dinner. But we were hungry and decided Mexican sounded great. The restaurant was completely empty except 2 women at the bar, and yet the service was really slow. Our...waiter was friendly, but obviously busy with other things. The food was good, but I could have easily eaten twice as much. It’s not cheap, so for the price, they need to take into consideration that the people eating there have been outside and exercising and probably quite hungry. We’ll make the drive to Plymouth or home next time.More

Since when does mozzarella cheese go on nachos? Worst Mexican food I remember! Salsa tastes like ketchup with a little salsa mixed in. It might be ok for a bottle beer, but nothing else we had was good!

Ordered the fajitas for diner cause I saw them come out of the kitchen for another table. Theirs came out sizzling and steaming but mine came out Luke warm. I asked my server about it and he responded he is just the server. So I...asked to speak to someone in charge and was informed there was no one I could speak with. We just moved to the area and I will never go back AVOIDMore

This place looks decent but our experience was not great. We sat at the bar and tried to order Don Julio tequila margaritas. the bartenders were all mexican and spoke little english, and couldn't seem to find any tequila. I had to tell them twice...how to make the drink. The salsa is literally ketchup. We ordered a side of pico de gallo which was actually fresh and delicious and used that as the salsa. Guac was just ok, nothing flavorful- i think the avocados were not of good quality.More

So it’s really difficult to write a review about food that you liked and the place that would be good if it wasn’t overrun by screaming children. I’ve come here a couple of times both times I’ve gotten the chicken fajitas both times they were...spectacular I mean really good. The first time I came here the restaurant was almost completely empty however the patrons that were there did bring a number of kids and there’s an area with a pool table and a bunch of video games and they let the kids kind of play by themselves. Wasn’t too bad because they’re only three or four of them however I did notice that they were the ones making the majority of the noise and commotion not to mention Having a sword fight with the pool cues. When I went to this last time same thing except the restaurant was full and they were over a dozen kids in this area basically screaming running throughout the restaurant one of them pulled my jacket off the back of the chair and cracked my phone case. the restaurant was so full that the waiters and waitresses were not able to go very quickly so I had to be there for a very long time. this seems like the place where everybody brings their kids and just allows him to go completely nuts. I have kids so I get it to a certain extent but I literally watch these children destroying the fabric of the pool table while I was there and not a person was watching. So if you want really really good fajitas and you don’t mind a bunch of kids this is the place for you. If you want a place where you can take your kids and they can go completely insane this is also for you. I will likely be back however I will sit far far away from the gaming area Or I’ll bring my friends who have a bunch of kids and let them go nuts because this is obviously the place to get them tired before they go to bed.More
