A nice quiet place to get a bite to eat. The food is good and there is a great selection to choose from.

We stopped in bar to check in at the inn for the night. We were cheerfully welcomed by Bartender, Kelly who got us all settled in at the bar with drinks and a quick order of appetizer. the atmosphere was one of friendly conversation, no...TV. although the inn was expecting a full house that evening, it was early and it was us and a handful of locals giving us some great info on local events.More

We were there for a wedding reception of about 14 adults and 7 children. The staff was friendly and great with the kids but the meal left something to be desired. I have never seen such a small plate of gnocchi for such a high...price that wasn't part of a 3 course meal, i don't think he had more than 5 gnocchi on his plate! (my husband had ordered it, no meals include soup/salad) Looked around at other plates and saw items of similar price had normal portion sizes. One guest's food order was completely missed, mine was on the cold side. Don't know if they aren't used to that large of a number of orders simultaneously (the kids' meals were ready within 15 minutes of arrival, awesome for them to do, we ate about over an hour later) so i'll give them the benefit of the doubt, although they did close the restaurant to accomodate us. Great staff, but the prices and portions will keep us from returning or referring.More

Bustling pub with delicious choices of both food and craft beer. Classic pub fare in addition to vegetarian and pescatarian options. Fun spot if you are in the area!

DO NOT GO THERE! We made reservations days in advance and still waited for an hour before getting our food. No one came to our table to let us know that there was only 2 servers for the entire restaurant AND NO BAR TENDER. 3...people became quite ill within an hour after leaving the place! I ordered Egg Plant Parmesan. No cheese, no tomato sauce - just over cooked pre packaged junk that had more salt than egg plant. The manager was gruff with no apologizes.. STAY AWAY!More

A group of us visited the pub for dinner in mid-August expecting a great bartender (Bobby is fun, friendly, efficient and offers great hospitality and creative concoctions) and a lovely environment. What we were not expecting was to be wowed by the food. Over the...past couple of years, chefs have come and gone and the food has been inconsistent. We were all pleasantly surprised! The current Chef is outstanding! We were all very pleased with our dinners which included almost all the items on the menu (lamb chops, risotto, burgers, and fish tacos). We all agreed that the pub would be back on our list of “ goto” places!More

This is our favorite spot to grab a delicious (not frozen!) burger, hand cut fries with truffle oil and the most delicious basil-tine around!!

Went with 3 others for dinner at the end of January and it was pretty bad. No bright spots with the food, nothing interesting, caesar salads were awful, the green beans came drenched in some kind of sugar sauce. Small portions too, and the mixed...drinks weren't anything special either. On the other hand, the staff was friendly, and the beer was great (that's what people seemed to be having, mainly) Years ago, this great old building had tons of color interest and patina and made it on atmosphere alone. Sadly, the ancient paneling is now all modern white. I'll be back when they strip the white paint or get a considerably better cook.More

Today, 3/18/2018 we visited this restaurant. The menu is limited and by 11:30 am, they were out of crab cakes for their Eggs Benedict. Out of our party of six, one person's food was very good (he ordered a well-done steak). Two had to send...back their dishes, as the medium hamburger was well done, the over-easy eggs weren't done correctly, plus the tomato and toast were missing. Two of us had Eggs Benedict. The eggs were so well done, it was like eating a hard-boiled egg with a little Hollandaise sauce. The corned beef hash was mostly onion and potato, as well as being very salty. On the good side... the bacon was excellent and the french fries were good. Bobby, the manager, was very gracious. He is always a delightful person and we appreciated his help.More

We chose this place for our 'Friday date night' and living in Walpole, it was about time. So glad we did! It has a very nice atmosphere and ambiance and the food was really good. The relaxed pace was nice too. The staff was very...pleasant and fun. We will definitely be back.More
