Burdicks is a restaurant, tea room and a chocolate shop. We ate lunch at the restaurant and it was all very fresh and good sized portions. I had vichyssoise soup and a walnut blue cheese salad. Fantastic!!! The server was attentive but never pushed us to rush though the restaurant was full. At a table next to us was a... More

As a chef and restaurant owner, rarely can you find the time in your schedule to dine out at a place that you have heard great praises about over the years. So what helped me make time? I sold my business. I was the chef and innkeeper of the Inn at Pleasant Lake for 18 years with a wife and... More

It's amazing but you'll drop your paycheck here! The cafe is also well worth the visit for high end chocolates and pastries as well as the best hot chocolate ever.

Well its a charming place and the food is amazing, the ambiance is beautiful and the proximity to their world class chocolate shop cannot be beat. Take time to stroll around the little village green and be swept away by Walpole and Burdicks!

Burdick's has a new chef, and oh my--what great fare. We were there on the first night of the summer menu. Every item was delicious, and especially the main course vegetarian fare. Lamb with middle eastern flavors was magnificent.

I love salmon and although this wasn't the best salmon I've ever had it was the 2nd best and the most interesting. I love buffets because you can get a lot of different tastes at the same time. Their salmon dish was like a one plate buffet. It included so many tastes from the parnsip puree to the garnishing salmon... More

Not very innovative. Uneven service and quality of food for the prices charged. $12 Bloody Mary... the worst one I've had anywhere in the region. A couple of good "Old Stand-by" dishes, but the majority of the entrees are just not up to the standards of what I would call "fine dining". Burdick's used to be a real dining destination,... More

Burdick's is a quality restaurant with a pleasant interior and good food. The have an exposition of local art which is for sale. A remarkable painting on show is the head of a cow places in Rothko like borders. Next door they have a chocolaterie with nice chocolat gifts.

You won't be disappointed! Everyone we've ever recommended this eating spot has had rave reviews about almost everything. If you like chocolate desserts you'll have fun with this one. It 's a bit pricy though. Great service, make the trip.
