This restaurant must be someone's half hearted hobby. In a near empty restaurant, it was 25 minutes or so before our order was taken and close to another hour for the food to come out of the kitchen after ordering. Our extensive demand on the kitchen: sandwiches. Reuben, only toasted on one side, the untoasted bottom, very soggy. Side of... More

The restaurant is convenient for local traffic. The food is marginally OK, but the service is very inconsistent and is often slow. Love the location & the place is very cute but food only average (had burgers) & priced too high- drinks very expensive too. Good service with friendly staff though.

This place is in the very cute area of Walpole town center. It had 3 areas of seating, and we sat in the dining area, a little quieter then the rest of the place. We were there around 5pm on a Saturday and it filled up pretty quickly for dinner. I had the Fish Tacos from the menu, they were... More

There's an extensive menu with daily specials, plenty of local brews, and simply a nice, friendly atmosphere. We met friends here for dinner and the place was quite busy, even on a Wednesday evening. There's a mix of locals from the surrounding towns plus visitors. The food is quite tasty and the portions are large. Staff was quite friendly adn... More

This is one of the local family-friendly restaurants; the other is Diamond Pizza. On weekends there will be many families and it can get crowded at prime time. It also tends to get crowded on Tuesday night when all burgers are seven bucks. It is not large and can get noisy at times but one really doesn't mind. I had... More

The Tavern offers a vide variety of local food and drinks. It has a friendly local atmosphere. The right place to meet up with family and friends. The service is friendly and the prices reasonable. The prime rib was excellent and cooked to perfection.
