We did not eat here but went in to see the lobster's. The gentleman in there was very nice. One of our party had never been to a lobster pound and he explained everything to them-even went and got a bigger lobster to show them. Will try the food next time!!

We have been going to Markey's for at least 20 years and the last two visits the conversation at the table was how quickly the place is declining. Example, seafood platter - smaller plates, more french fries, fewer clams and the coleslaw is now on the plate rather than on the side to make the plate look more full. Also,... More

Overpriced but good Lobster Roll. I am always amazed at the great reviews some places get because of their location. It is like just because you are near a beach/ocean and serve seafood places get a high rating. Anyway the Lobster Roll was very good (4) but price was ridiculous. Clam chowder was more like potato chowder with very little... More

We didn't quite understand the concept of the one counter for fried and another for the boiled seafood, and ended up at the fried counter. We ordered the plate with the scallops, clams, lobster, and fish. All were very good. Served piping hot with fries and coleslaw. The fried lobster tasted good, but the breading overpowered the flavor. The breading... More

Absolutely no frills but seafood at its simplest at great prices. Place your order at the counter (actually one each for fried food, boiled, or drinks). Lobster rolls are loaded and fantastic. A large order of onion rings was gigantic. If it's taste and price you want, this is the price.

My son loves this place! It's nothing fancy. Plastic silverware and cardboard plates. You order your food and when it's ready you pick it up on a tray. As I said....nothing fancy! HOWEVER, the food is delicious!!! Well worth stopping in!! I always get the seafood platter so I can have a little of everything!

But this time a bit too busy - big party going on. The pair of lobsters as always really good, the corn a bit overcooked, and the clam chowder - o.k. but far from as good some other places in the coast area.

We went back a second time on a three day get away. Both times I had twin lobsters for less than $20.00 perfectly cooked and served simply with butter. My husband had a lobster roll filled to over flowing with lobster salad and clam chowder. The food is very good, portions were good, fresh salads nicely done but could use... More

This was our first visit to the NE part of the country. We spent the weekend in Boston and were ready to hit the countryside. We had Markey's recommended to us. The building was a little disappointing, but the food was fabulous. We got the lobster, steamed clams, and a fried choice consisting of clams, scallops, and they changed out... More

Came here for dinner our 2nd night of vacation. Had the fried haddock, onion rings and coleslaw. It was fantastic! The batter of the fried haddock was so delicious, fish was very fresh tasting and the coleslaw was perfect! Very fresh and not a ton of mayonnaise. I would definitely eat here again.
