Poor Peoples has always had great pizza, plenty of topping and always cooked just right. Our typical order has been a large pizza, pitcher of beer and a house salad. Our order hasn't changed in twenty plus years, I have always looked forward to the house salad, unfortunately the salad has. They have substituted some other type of lettuce for... More

Great place is you want a pitcher of beer and a down to earth place to eat at. The daily specials are good and the Burger and Steak subs are always my family's favorite. I was in Hawaii and seen the shirt around there multiple times...It was great to see! Friendly staff!

I would stay clear of this place unless you need a time in the bathroom. Great place to just get drunk and wreck the Harley. The locals are a bit scary too. It has a Deliverance feel to it.

We are pretty lucky to have this gem in town! We were reminded after a week on the Maine coast in the Mid-Coast area. Our lobster rolls were much smaller and more expensive than our rolls from the Pub! I'm a huge fan of the pizza and the BLT's on rye, but you can not go wrong with any of... More

This is a "famous" place in the area and has been there for quite some time, maybe 30 years or so? Hot dogs and chile and burgers and beer. Can be loud and service is so so.

Poor Peoples Pub is a great place to bring the family, it has a wide range of foods as well as a decent variety of beer, personally I love Guinness and they serve it, that made me very happy. I have had many Lobster Rolls from Maine to Boston and this one takes the cake it is well worth the... More

We went here on our way to the mountains for a weekend stay on Memorial Day weekend. The food was amazing as usual and the strawberry lemonade is to die for! They even put a bit of whipped cream on top!

A must stop. Very good down home food, not fancy, but locals as well as summer visitors all flock to this pub. Kid friendly.

This is a really nice small town pub. We stop in a few times a year when visiting family. The food is very good from pizza and sandwiches to full meals. The staff is always friendly and make you feel welcome!!

We were in the area on a Tuesday and found that this was the only place that we could get lunch and dinner! The service was good, the food was fine, and the place itself was clean. The décor was typically pub. All in all, the restaurant was a pleasant experience.
