Seemed average this time.

I was expecting breakfast and found out they opened at 11 am and settled for lunch. Pastrami sandwich had a lot of salt. Wife had turkey sandwich with real roast turkey. Service was very good. Fair prices with Pub atmosphere.

I've eaten here a half-dozen times, and I still think it's just average, in spite of the rave reviews. The food is good, the portions are average, and the prices are reasonable. Service can be hit or miss -- a few times we've waited much too long. A friend and I had the Saturday night 'special', which is their homemade... More

Veterans Day lunch was delicious. I look forward to going back for dinner. I have had black and tan's before however, this drink was the best at Poor Peoples Pub.

Haven't had the opportunity to eat here in quite some time. It's even better now then I remembered. The waitstaff is as friendly as ever, food is tasty and filling. No fried food, which was my only let down. LOL I prefer french fries fried not baked..

I always said I couldn't find bad food in NH. Amazingly, that quest has ended in Sanbornville. Stopped for lunch today and was surprised at how high the prices were for such poor quality items. Husband had open faced turkey sandwich which wasn't really a sandwich as it had ONE slice rye with dry turkey with bacon, non-descript Swiss cheese... More

We visited this restaurant on our trip to New England last year and loved it, so we went back this year to see if it was as good as last year. It was even bertter than last year, so this year we went there 3 times in one week! The waitstaff continues to be great and the Lobster Rolls were... More

We had not been to PPP for a while and it fit our need to fill empty bellies at a good price after a day in the mountains. I had the pub wings which were big, juicy, nicely crisp on the outside and slathered with a tasty spicy-sweet sauce. I combined the wings with a bowl of fish chowder which... More

Best BBQ beans and beef sandwich that I have eaten. Old building and interior. Staff hustles. One mile from Rt 16.

I don't get it. This place is a landmark always packed and AWFUL! I think they sell more t shirts than food. The french fries are oven fries. You know like the OREIDA fries you make at home. They don't have a fryolator! All they really have is sandwiches, burgers (small frozen patties) and stuff like that. Just don't waste... More
