Moderate prices, Homestyle cooking and a comfortable atmosphere make this establishment a local favorite. On our visit we had beer by the pitcher, a large steak sandwich , an open faced sandwich as well as one of the evening specials, meatloaf. All were satisfying It was a good value but service was slow.

We were in the area and hungry so we decided to stop in and grab a quick bite to eat. Glad we did. The food was good. Service was great. If I had to choose one bad thing, it was FREEZING in there. But being that it's summer time, I can see why most people would be ok with this!!... More

Nothing fancy but the service was great...Jill was our waitress and she was very busy but maintained a smile the entire time and we never felt deprived of any service...We usually make it a point to stop in at the PPP and always leave feeling glad that we stopped in...Again, nothing fancy but very nice...

We ended up here on short notice to accommodate a family birthday. We were SUPPOSED to be at C&G pizza, but a family member thought this would be better. It had more room, for sure, but the food. Yuck! Are you kidding me? It was uninspired, plain, bland, and nothing I couldn't whip up with my own leftovers. The "turkey... More

This is our local pub. The soups are good but the French onion and tomato bisque are outstanding and our favorite. The Lobster Roll is amazing. Sandwiches and subs are terrific. Good selection of beer on tap and also serve wine.

Poor Peoples has always had great pizza, plenty of topping and always cooked just right. Our typical order has been a large pizza, pitcher of beer and a house salad. Our order hasn't changed in twenty plus years, I have always looked forward to the house salad, unfortunately the salad has. They have substituted some other type of lettuce for... More
