We visited the Colliseum with the family after going to the Sweet Baby Winery. It was early for dinner, and even though we didn't have reservations (which seemed to put off the hostess), they found a table for our party of 6. That night they featured live music. It was tasteful and appropriate, and not too loud. The decor outside... More

Longtime Salem restaurant that always exceeds expectations. Homemade pasta, fresh ingredients in everything, excellently prepared food, a great bar- what could be better? And the owner, Annabale, circulates and makes sure customers are happy. Old fashioned values, hospitality, cuisine, and value. My favorite place in town for dinner!

In my opinion this place has gone down hill. I used to visit this place often and at least 3 or 4 times a month I would order take-out. Then one day the owner decided no take-out! Can you imagine? The last time I was there I ordered Chicken Marsala. The trick to a good Marsala is reducing the sauce... More

My husband and I love sitting in the bar and listening to the piano player. He is great! Call ahead to see if there is live music playing the night you want to go. The schedule does change.

Four in party and seated quickly. Waiter arrived and asked, "have you been here before?" I replied "No" and was met with a canned response if "welcome back" The menu was quite large and the waiter stopped by the table twice in 5 minutes time asking if we were ready to order. After the second inquiry, he disappeared and returned... More

This has probably turned into my favorite Italian repeat visit restaurant. Service is great even when it gets really busy. Food quality is outstanding. A delightful dining experience with flair at a reasonable price.

My family and I have been eating here since we moved to Salem about 16 years ago. The atmosphere is always amazing, there's always a ton of food, in the service is always spot on. Even if we don't eat in the restaurant, we go in sometimes to buy just the pasta sauce and take it home and use it... More

Came here again with my family. No complaints and all of our meals were perfect. Ended our special evening with their homemade Limoncello! Absolutely delicious. I am definitely coming back here.

Favorite place to grab fantastic chicken marsala, table-side ceasar salad and your fantastic limoncello martini - dessert in a glass, always perfectly made. Keep up the great work!

I brought my girlfriend to eat there and i am from Salem. very classy and i loved the atmosphere. id recommend the chicken francese. I love Italian food and places like bertuccis, olive garden and carrabas just can not compare to this place. It is definitely a lot more elegant and the overall experience is so much more authentic to... More
