Love this place! By far the best ice cream place in the area. Homemade ice cream and they always have a special flavor of soft serve. I highly recommend paying this place a visit if in the area! Fair warning bring your appetite because they don't skimp on portion size.

The first time we visited Lone Oak in 1992, we just moved to Rochester. It was a hot day & we really wanted some good ice cream. Our neighbors told us to go to Lone Oak as they make fresh home made ice cream & it was the best. So off we went & we order 3 Large cones! When... More

I have visited many ice cream shops in the lakes region and this is by far the best! All homemade ice cream. They always have several new special flavors. Try the oreo!

I tried to call the number online but it seemed to go right to voice mail so I am not sure if you can order ahead. Nonetheless, I had a bacon cheeseburger and a extra thick frappe. Man that homemade ice cream is good. The girls at the window were very friendly and I knew I couldn't compete with the... More

Although if you are visiting Rochester, you have to go a bit outside of the main part of town, Lone Oak is WELL worth the drive!!! Not only do they have a TON of amazing ice cream flavors, they ALSO have special flavors each week..... The burgers are thick, delicious and not full of fillers....... The seafood is wonderful (... Wow, if you have not had a Lone Oak ice cream cone - you are missing the best of the best! Make sure to order the small, as it will be the biggest 'small' you have ever seen. Home made ice cream and it is fabulous - I love Muddy Sneakers! Besides the ice cream, they also serve some awesome... More

Great burgers, fries and rings. Unless you are absolutely starving (or sharing with a small army) order a smaller size of ice cream than you normally would...... a kid size is almost the size of a kid!

This is a local ice cream shop. They also have food. Food is good but obviously limited since it is mainly an ice cream place. The ice cream is delicious and homemade. The sizes are very large - even the kid size. The staff is friendly and willing to give you a little taste if you can't decide.
