Our family enjoyed breakfast at Colby's on a recent trip to Portsmouth. The restaurant is small, but you do not feel cramped by surrounding tables. We each enjoyed our breakfast. The waitstaff were quick & efficient.

Went here with friends for an after yoga-breakfast. So cozy, tiny, well-run, fabulous breakfast food. Coffee is only fair, but they do not mind if you bring your own. Pancakes had everything but the kitchen sink in them and overflowed the plate, and there was just one, it was thin but we could not finish it. The menu was loaded,... More

We went there because of recommendation. Ordered two eggs, home fried and toasts. The food is great and fresh. I particular like the home fried. The only cons and made this not a 5 star is the heat as there is no air conditioning in the restaurant.

Stayed a night in Portsmouth, got up early on Saturday and got breakfast here. It was busy as heck for 730am but they had complimentary coffee outside under some umbrellas with seating. The food was delicious and very fair pricing :) Thank you!

Small place great for couples. Go and stop in about 30-45 min before you want to go to put your name in. The food is excellent and well priced. The Cinnamon French toast is definitely worth a try. It's amazing!

My boyfriend and I were prepared to head off to The Friendly Toast due to the reviews but a few local residents insisted that we try Colby's. Boy, I am I happy we did! There was a bit of a wait but it was well worth it as the food was superb and as far as I could tell most... More

Small place, off the beaten path, with a long line but worth the wait. The staff is friendly and quick, the food is delicious and served hot with huge portions. I recommend the pancakes (they melt in your mouth).

First time patron and it won't be the last. Nestled just off the main street, we arrived at 9 am for breakfast and just missed the the rush. (Not a lot of tables) Excellent menu. I got the cinnemon French Toast and it was marvelous. You can pick 1,2 or 3 slices of thick break laced with mouthwatering cinnemon drizzle.... More

Portsmouth, NH great gem of a town, quaint and charming. The residents are friendly and helpful. If you are up this way on your way to visit the Kennedy Library in Maine stop in at Colby's for breakfast. The portions are generous the waitstaff is fast and attentive.

Thank Tiberius T
