Best breakfast restaurant I know. We stop here every year or 2 as we are traveling through area. 5 or 6 times in total. Always excellent. Today had Irish Benedict and Traditional Eggs Benedict superb again. Don't be put off by strip mall exterior. Great food and service. And unlike most other Portsmouth choices easy and ample parking. Don't miss.

What seemed like a long line was dealt with with sincerety and some good laughs, we were made to feel welcomed and the place was packed! ALL for a veryu good reason. Great food, EXCELLENT prices and terrific wait staff. Some other very local and immediate shops could take a big lesson from these guys! HIGHLY recommended.

My meal was excellent! I had 2 eggs over easy,2 large sausage patties, home fries, wheat toast, and plenty of great coffee! They were very hospitable there,we stayed a couple of hours,no problem of feeling rushed. Hope to visit again! Delicious!

I had eggs Benedict, espresso, and they have fresh squeezed orange juice! All fantastic with great smiling service. Here all week on travel for work and this is my favorite spot so far!

I've been here a few times. The pastries are good but the selection is limited. The breakfast dishes are good -- big portions, tasty, good prices. The atmosphere is the 'homey' cafe style. Both times I went, however, service was extremely slow, so I haven't been back. It's a nice little place, though, so I'll probably give it another try.

Good and affordable. Definitely worth a quick visit. The staff are extremely friendly and very prompt. Not in downtown, but convenient location. I recommend the pancakes.

Had the Belgium waffle with walnuts and banana s....quite tasty...my friend had eggs with ham and home-made wheat bread-big thick slices! I would recommend... Didn't have to wait for a table... Good choice!

Ate here on a busy Sunday morning but we were seated quickly and received excellent service from out attentive waitress. Nice variety and prices significantly cheaper than restaurants closer to Market Square, with plenty of free parking too. I don't think you could go wrong with anything on their large breakfast menu. I will definitely pay them a visit for... More

Great burgers! Great lobster rolls! Great breakfasts! Great Belgian waffles! This place is in a strip mall, but don't let that fool you. It's absolutely delicious!

We stopped by the new location of Cafe Espresso in Dover within 2 weeks of them opening. The Portsmouth location is my favorite breakfast spot in the area, so I was very excited to learn they were opening one in my town. They are my favorite breakfast spot because 1) the food is good and consistently good, 2) the restaurant... More
