Loved the casual dining experience at Dolphin Striker. The restaurant had a feel of early times, not too chic or stuffy. Its what you expect when you are in a port town. Servers are knowledgable and friendly and food is very good. I can attest to the crab stuffed haddock, which was displayed beautifully with perfect sauce to accompany. You... More

Went there for dinner and have been several times. Always a good meal. The seafood is wonderful and menu has a full collection of choices. Cozy and more intimate setting. Staff is attentive and prices good. Small downstairs tavern below main dining area for after dinner visits. Not a large place so no big crowds and not lots of noise.... More

Disappointed. Excited to try this restaurant but left disappointed, still hungry (!) and a with a large charge on our credit card thar included only two drinks. The portions are so small I have to wonder if they cut the regular servings in half for restaurant week; if so, they should make that known. Food for the most part was... More

We had dinner recently and found it disappointing. The space is lovely with lots of beams, warm wood and stone walls, but looking tired. The woodwork was dusty, the paint chipped and the menus worn and soiled. Our meals were alright, but not for the cost. Both of our dishes had lobster that was overcooked and chewy and possibly had... Had reservations here on St. Patricks Day. They place was not crowded which was slightly worrisome but we didn't need to be. The waitress was a real pro. There when you needed her with great knowledge of the menu but gone when you didn't need her. the food was top notch. We had raw oysters and tuna for apps, both... More

We've been to the Dolphin Striker a couple of times and found it average during each visit. They have some very good fish dishes that are worth a visit but some of their more adventurous dishes, like the Lobster Mac & Cheese are not. Very dry, as if they baked it too long so all of the sauce burned off.

A friend and I stopped by for drinks and appetizers and to hear the band. I've always liked this historic little place, with all the brick and wood. We had glasses of wine and shared calamari and mussels, and they were all good. The music that night was old-school R&B/soul, my favorite kind. The food's a bit pricey, but it... More

Food is solid, service is good but what sets it apart is the music! Great talent, too bad they didn't have a little more space downstairs!

Girls getaway weekend, this restaurant was recommended to us by Wentworth by Sea staff. It did not disappoint. We both had the sliders (one lobster & one cheeseburger) with French fries and a cocktail. Caramel white Russian I would definitely recommend it . . .

The location is nice, the building is beautiful, the history is rich but the menu should also be a part of history. It's not bad, its just not good. The food takes fresh ingredients and does the most boring recipe with them. Blackened fish with pilaf seems like a throwback to 1990s chilis. Raw oysters are fresh but it comes... More
