My fellow man and I we delighted. Even if we had difficulty making decisions about food, we were so glad the hotel recommended this place. The hostess sat us in front of the fireplace. Oh so cozy . White table cloths, attentive but not obsequious service, and well chilled white wine(Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc), and pretty quiet tho' business was... More

Thanks so much for these incredibly kind words, April! They truly mean a lot, and I hope we'll have the pleasure of seeing you again soon. I'm glad you enjoyed the cobb salad so much! It's definitely a delicious way to start a meal if done right. Thanks again! It was a pleasure having you here. Best, Paul - Owner More

Long ago and far away, this was a "go to" place. The pizza was fabulous, the hot wings, were HOT, the nachos, were the best. Like almost every place we used to frequent , it's gone downhill. We hadn't been out or here for a good long time. We were in the area and decided to go. The place was... More

You can imagine how upsetting it is for me to hear this kind of feedback. It sounds like we dropped the ball during your visit, and it's a shame the food wasn't quite the way you remember it. We haven't changed much about how we do things around here, so I know we can impress you if you give us... More

I personally love a pizza joint that makes pizza one way - no options of thin vs thick vs deep dish - places that after years of being in business, the pizza is the same. I've gone to the Brat for at least 40 years and it's still the same, which to me is a great thing that says alot... More

We've eaten at the Dinnerhorn off and on for 10+ years. The food is usually very good. On this visit we had Mussels which were very good and a Fried Combo plate of half Fried Clams and half Fried Scallops. The Scallops were good but the Clams were soggy and not edible. My husband and I were as upset with... More

Claire, I'm really sorry to hear that after ten years of dining with us, your most recent experience may keep you from coming back. It upsets me that you didn't love the fried clams, and I wish I had known you were still in the restaurant at the time of the complaint. It was briefly mentioned to me in passing,... More

We took friends from out town here only to be disappointed. The food is so so - not bad but not great. The service rots - not very friendly and they seem to have an attitude - not good when you are the customer. I don't like the feeling that they are the ones doing the favor of me being... More

Sherylgary78, I'm really sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your meal here. From the mediocre food to the rude service, this is definitely not the way we want to do business, and I can assure you it's not the norm. I really appreciate you letting me know -- I'll be looking into this right away. I really hope you'll... More

Dinnerhorn a great value, lunch or dinner and you can order a pizza from the Bratskellar! Service is excellent, large menu selection, daily specials, less than 5 minutes from downtown. A favorite among locals

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and we are glad they did! The service was fantastic. Everyone was attentive, friendly (even though we showed up 1/2 hour before closing and left 1/2 after closing..oops), and offered helpful hints about our upcoming travels. We enjoyed swordfish, chicken tetrazzini, and chicken fettuccine, and it was all delicious - even my 'picky eater' enjoyed... More

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and good food at reasonable price. Works for me. We got, on recommendation, their specialty pizzas and they were delicious and big enough for lunch the next day.

Have been here three times while visiting NH and loved all of my meals. Am going back again in November to try the stuffed Lobster! Had the Captains Plate which was filled to the brim with perfectly fried seafood. The fish was perfectly cooked that came with it. Love the full belly clams too. Yum. Had the whole snapper special... Love their pizza. We stop by every time we pass through Portsmouth! We had the bonus of seeing the extra-high tide creep up into the parking lot!
