This is a very trendy and busy restaurant. Food and service were very good. I was there on a very busy night with not an empty table in sight. Calamari and mussels were very good as expected. I would go back again when next in Portsmouth. make a reservation. Wide range in age of customers so anybody can go there... More

Great layout/setting; cocktails & wine list; atmosphere; service; food. We've been in NYC & New England for 10 days and this is probably my favourite of some great restaurants. Can't believe it's not rated higher in Portsmouth (we went to Surf for lunch which was ordinary by comparison).

Food was fine but difficult to read the menu. Several tables including ours had to take out a phone to provide light to read the menu. Reservations recommended. It's on a busy corner so several times had police vehicles and flashing lights 'adding' to the ambience.

Very impressed. Nice location, space and very knowledgeable friendly staff. Food? Maybe best calamari I've ever had. Great sourdough bread with awesome homemade butter. Fish was impeccable sautéed and accompanied by array of sauces that were top shelf too. Pretty good place!

Had a 5 PM Saturday evening meal and we were able to be seated immediately. Our server was friendly and quick. The menu has a nice variety of creative seafood dishes. Our meals were delicious and reasonably priced. Wish we lived nearby so we could explore more of the interesting menu offerings.

Got a recommendation from our hotel and decided to try this place. Made a reservation while walking there and we were greeted as if we were regulars. Had a lovely waitress named Dolly who was extremely professional and charming. Food was fresh and delicious. Wine very good too. Wish I could go again but my travels take me elsewhere.

I chose this restaurant based on a recommendation from a work colleague who also visited Portsmouth. The place was packed (Tuesday night about 8:30 so I sat at the bar. Took about 5 minutes before I was acknowledged, no hello, just a menu. Ordered the swordfish which came with corn and mashed potatoes ($27) and a glass of malbec ($9).... More

We had dinner at the restaurant. I had one of the best halibut dinners I've had in a long time. I also had the special salad which was excellent. My husband had halibut as well but prepared differently than mine. His was equally delicious. The service was prompt and friendly.

Just had a great meal at Jumpin' Jay's. Had the Prince Edward Island mussels and the haddock piccata and my husband had the catch of the day - grilled swordfish. The mussels were absolutely fantastic. Definitely enjoyed this restaurant.
