The inside of this place is very pretty. I think it used to be an old bank or something. When you walk in there a high cathedral ceiling with stained glass. They were busy so they sat us in the vault int he back. It's sorting of like sitting a catacomb. At first we thought it was cool but the... More

We were there and saw a woman we knew from our hotel earlier in the night screwed over. She had words with her date and he complained and they threw her out. For no reason we could see. They were sitting next to us. When my wife stuck up for the girl they threw her out then me after I... More

I missed the Ri Ra in Providence, so I thought a safe haven for a quick bite at a restaurant I was familiar with, that had a patio would be ideal. Poor service, meals weren't anything to write home about, and it just wasn't a pleasant experience. Hoping this was an anomaly. I'll have to visit again by myself to... More

Great food, great service, great atmosphere! I would definitely eat here again. It was busy yet the service was still attentive, the food was typical pub fare but all prepared well. Nice comfortable place!

I love seafood but I need to break it up and enjoy some traditional Irish pub fare prepared wonderfully. Love Ri Ra. The location is in a beautiful old bank building right in the heart of Portsmouth on Market St. There are nooks and crannies inside the old vault where you can have a quiet dinner or you can sit... Enjoyed lunch here and sadly watched N Ireland beaten 1:0 by Germany . But you know what the staff were friendly food good and 1:0 felt like a win - only the Irish can think like that :)

We enjoyed this pub and loved the curry and chips. The decor was beautiful with great service and a wide variety of drink selections. This is a great place for people watching.

I did not eat here so can't rate the food. We went for drinks and night life and had a good time dancing.

Stopped for lunch on UNH graduation weekend on our way down to Boston. This is one of a couple Ri Ras in the area. Interesting location in an old bank lobby. Food was okay, portions were small (can't believe I'm saying that, but it's true), service could be deemed brusque.

Ate outside as they allow dogs in that area. Need to eat if sitting outside in street area(state/town law). Staff friendly both with us and dog. Had cod and chips which was excellent and "bothered" by some very friendly sparrows which I liked.
