The service was great, but the food was nothing to write home about. Typical diner fare - however, the toast was outstanding and prompted a trip to the Flying Pigs Bakery, so we could get a loaf to take home.

Easy access from the bypass. It is in walking distance from the surrounding hotels. The food is very good and the service is fast and friendly. Try the fried pickles.

The restaurant was recommended by the lady who checked us in at America's Best Inns. She said it had the best food around...it did. Very delicious, large portions, great old decor and very friendly and efficient staff. A very pleasurable evening of dining.

Easy off/on I-95. Considering the ever-increasing flow of interstate traffic to and from Maine -- and how few other exits between Danvers and Portland lead so easily to a meal -- here would be a perfect restaurant business plan for cutting ingredient costs and elevating menu prices for hungry tourists. Rather, in a retro diner setting, with an herb garden... More

Stopped in after seeing the reviews. I had the Monte Cristo had good thickness of ham and Swiss. Made on French toast With warm maple syrup. Wife had a cheeseburger. Had a slight Char broil flavor. Nice to have a Bloody Mary with Breakfast. Would stop again, huge menu!

This restaurant has basic diner food. There are many choices for breakfast. We stayed in the hotel so it was very convenient to stop there for breakfast. We stopped in at night for a little dessert but the choices were minimal since their pastry cook was out sick. If you are looking for basic diner food, this is the place... More

The Roundabout is no doubt a diner -- but the warmth and consideration exhibited by the staff was so much more than expected. For breakfast, I HIGHLY recommend their Hash. Homemade, delicious. The sourdough toast was really good, too. But what really got me was how kind they were to my Dad. Very accommodating, very helpful. Thanks, guys!

Having this gem in your backyard (literally) can spoil you rotten. Not only can we visit as a family, but friends can eat and/or drink in the bar and every meal is comfort food! Very hard working staff who work to please everyone, a tough task when you get so many travelers on the traffic circle.

This place has amazing breakfast food at a reasonable price! To be honest I've only ever had breakfast food here and they serve it all day! They have big portions and good service. It's a 50's theme and is a lot of fun! Great for families and big groups ( call ahead if you have a large group).

Another late travel night made us happy to find an on-site restaurant open for dinner. The lobster club was pretty good, but the bacon overwhelmed the lobster. The BBQ platter consisted of pulled pork BBQ that was very good, not too sweet, and delicious cornbread. Coleslaw was interesting, tasted like it had a bit of coriander. The diner vibe was... More

At the Roundabout Diner and Lounge, we serve breakfast all day, great burgers and sandwiches, Phantom Gourmet award-winning BBQ, comfort food classics like meatloaf, roast turkey, and of course, local New England favorites like fish and chips, and the best lobster roll around. We also use locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, like bread baked just for us by When Pigs Fly Bakery, breakfast sausage made for us in Vermont, local cheeses, and more. And we make all our delicious cakes and pies right here at the Roundabout. From scratch! If you would like us to cater one of your events then look no further than Chill Catering, one of the largest catering companies on the seacoast.
