Yankee magazine chose our house made charcuterie as the best in New England, and we’ve just made it better. We have incorporated a selection of cured meats along with our house made items and paired them with amazing Vermont cheeses all accompanied by lightly grilled baguette slices.

seared duck breast accompanied by a sour cherry relish and paired with candied pecan and carrot baklava which is finished with a saute of celeriac and broccolini.
prime flat iron steak
usda prime pan seared flat iron steak paired with our house made steak sauce alongside a vine rip tomato quinoa which is finished with edamame and zucchini squash fries.
bbq short rib
braised short rib which is glazed with a mombo bbq sauce paired with a garden herb polenta which is accompanied by sweet ginger summer squash noodles.

Seared Maine family farms lamb sirloin served with a roasted tomato lentil cake and Italian creamed corn which is finished with a fig marbella sauce.

all natural chicken prepared three ways: roasted breast, crispy confit leg and garlic thyme sausage, served with milles feuilles potatoes, mixed beets with a caramelized shallot and green peppercorn sauce.

wild local‏ moon fish wrapped in prosciutto and placed on a bed of spinach and cauliflower gnocchi with brown butter poached apples which is finished with an almond romesco sauce and lemon honey jelly.
summer mahi mahi
Seared Atlantic mahi mahi which is topped with a Sambuca plum butter and served along-isde a red bliss potato salad which is accompanied by a yuzu fennel slaw.
crispy skin salmon
Pan seared organic farm raised Atlantic salmon alongside Szechuan dusted daikon and then paired with a roasted peach-watermelon radish and snow pea forbidden rice and finished with a strawberry balsamic coulis.
yellowfin tuna “salad”
Seared yellow fin tuna brushed with a Vermont maple syrup and wasabi-soy glaze which is placed atop warm frisee greens tossed with a toasted coconut vinaigrette surrounded by a golden curry broth
“corned beef” raviolis
handmade marble rye raviolis filled with “corned beef marinated mushrooms” and freshly grated cheese which are placed on a bed of sauerkraut slaw and warm thousand island sauce finished with cheese crisps.

romaine hearts tossed with a fig and lemon caesar dressing accompanied by a greek yogurt cheese with a black garlic – cranberry coulie which is finished with a baked za’tar flat bread.

Well prepared drinks, menu offerings with a twist and emphasis on presentation. Limited dessert menu but quite satisfied with our selections. A bonus, on site valet parking in busy downtown Portsmouth, a pleasant surprise.

No. There is no dress code, but most patrons will be dressed upscale casual. Those celebrating a special event may wear a jacket, but it's up to you.
