Tremendously disappointing food. A restaurant that is based on Spanish food should get the basics right at the very least. Cava's laughable attempt made for a regrettable night out. The empanadas were sad- made with puff pastry and flavorless filling. The paella was even worse,...More

My husband and I returned to Cava for dinner after almost a year and realized we'd waited too long! Once again, we had an excellent meal and drinks. And the staff offered just the right amount of attention. The wine list is expansive and excellent,...More

You have to just go and experience this restaurant! Every dish (Tapas) we experienced was better than the next. Very quaint and the staff is remarkable. Highly recommend!

Out shopping in Portsmouth, and hungry, we turned up a smaller alleyway and found this neat tapas place. Each dish we chose was interesting and well-presented, and service was excellent. I would happily return.

I finally went to Cava. I had a glass of Portuguese red, which at $10 was one of the lowest-priced wines by the glass on the menu -- not because I'm cheap, but I hate to spend a fortune on one glass of wine, no...More

Loved this restaurant! Will definitely go back. It is down the cutest alley. Don’t be scared to be downstairs, we actually liked it better!!! Excellent, friendly service and the food was delicious. Everything is freshly made and you can tell. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Could you walk down a cuter alley than the one Cava is located on? I bet not and on top of that have you tasted anything like the dishes they create? or find better service? The crudos to the paella to the patatas bravas. Its...More

I've enjoyed tapas and small plate dining experiences all over the country and I'll get this right out of the way: Cava's menu is inventive, the variety intriguing, the preparation excellent and the presentation outstanding. So why 3 stars? Namely because the service felt anxious...More

Excellent wine choices by the glass. Tapas selections made decision hard as everything looked and tasted great! Had to go to a concert and the service was efficient and delightful.
