Service was great, atmosphere was cool. The menu was sparse not many non-beef items. We ordered the nacho mac n cheese. It was mediocre, watery, unsalted, bland, no real gooey or bubbly cheese you expect with Mac n cheese especially served in a cast iron dish. We also got the short rib special... Not so special in flavor it didn't... More

We love all the common man restaurants, but Foster's is a beautiful space with wonderful food. Like all the common man staff, everyone works hard to make sure you enjoy your time with them.

Very interesting restaurant, it is built in the old boiler room of an old factory. Great choices on the menu. Went with my son while visiting colleges. We both enjoyed our dinners.

Quite a feat to turn an old logging establishment into a restaurant, which was a surprise, but this was a highlight experience during a visit to Plymouth. There are many different levels and rooms to relax or eat in, and a huge amount of logging artifacts on the walls- free appetizers at a cheese station while you wait. Everything we... More

The food here is very good and reasonably priced. The menu is somewhat limited but adequate to accommodate most diners. The main dining area is on multiple levels and was built with the original boiler stack still in place to add atmosphere. On the second night we dined in the Abenaki room which is not quite as nice as the... More

Had a few hours to kill so decided to head to Fosters for a few drinks and appetizers with my boyfriend. It was early, just before 5:30 on a Friday night. The bar was dead, not even more than 6 people including us. We walked in and sat and I immediately felt unwelcome. The bartender looked at us and never... More

We ate at Foster's a few times and always enjoyed our experience. We met friends there last night for dinner and things have changed. Our server was pleasant and brought our food out very quickly! Looks like the staff has been instructed to up sell! We tried the popcorn appetizer with maple syrup and bacon which was recommended by our... More
