Great to eat in this interesting space with brick and heavy timber structure spread out on several levels. Service was very good. Good beer and wine selection. Food is tasty. Very good duck confit sandwich, salad OK, blackberry peach cobbler great. Even though this is part of larger restaurant group it feels like one of a kind.

Martini Mondays are good but there menu has changed and they no longer have flame mignon a no longer have asparagus and then no longer have garlic mashed potatoes so there menu was very limited and quite doll. This is my third night and I have had the same meal twice if that tells you anything. Do not get the... More

We were staying at the Inn so we had dinner here. My husband ordered the French Onion Soup, which unfortunately never arrived. He had the steak entree which was of average quality and came with a vegetable medley and mashed potatoes. I had the 3 forks salad (greens, pecans, cheese and apples) and I added grilled salmon. The salad, dressed... More

Great staff who were attentive and paid attention to the needs of diners. During this meal, I had a French Onion Gratinee, which had warm broth and bread hidden under a layer of melted Gruyère. The cheese on the edge of the bowl was crispy and the best part. Main course was the Bacon and Bleu burger with juicy angus... More

Everything on the menu is fantastic...between all of us in my family, we have tried almost every dish and everytime it's a home run. Good portions, fresh ingrediants, and fantastic service with a smile. A very well run restaurant!

I recommend the steak tips. Arguably the best I ever had. Dessert was great had the peach and blackberry cobbler. You will not leave here hungry.

Great atmosphere and great food! Carve off a hunk of cheese and grab some crackers for your table at the bottom of the stairs. My wife said before ordering, "I'd order anything off this menu..."

Had dinner here, but a "lighter" meal. Soup was (Steak and Potato) OK. Had a good amount of steak in it, but broth was redolent of the flour used to thicken it and it arrived lukewarm. Portion size was more like a demitasse rather than a cup. Burger was ordered medium rare and came out medium well (and I'm being... More

You have probably heard about the cliche "first impressions make lasting impressions." As we entered the pub, we noticed that it was very dark. Upstairs, we noticed many windows. We were told there were no tables available and we would need to wait. Instead, we went down stairs and one in our party didn't like the "fire place" smell. We... More

We ate at Fosters primarily since we were staying at the inn and had a groupon dining credit. The food was good but as I said in the title not over the top in any way. We split the beet and Brussels sprouts salad and the fried calamari. Both were very good and portion size was certainly enough for two.... More
