Our initial contact with a server was warm, but it was downhill from there. Our friendly wait person was shooed away by the owner, probably because we were a large table of 9. We were plied with drinks, almost as if to keep us placated...More

If you read the other 1 star reviews, that was our experience. I think it depends on who your waiter is, if you get the owner, be forewarned!

No matter where it was located, Peyton Place would be outstanding. The eclectic menu provides a variety of interesting appetizers, salads and entrees. Dessert is literally the "frosting on the cake". On a recent visit I selected three appetizers as I just couldn't choose one...More

What a find! This place is about 25 minutes north of Hanover and well worth the trip. I would call it fine country dining in a relaxed, candle lit, small town setting. The menu is on a portable blackboard and the hostess knows it front...More

The food is oustanding. However, this is not casual dining. Expect the dining experience to last 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Savor and enjoy each course. A great place to go with friends and engage in conversation.
