We both ordered different fish dishes. We both eat as much seafood as we can possibly eat. Both dishes of fish here were much less than fresh and the seasoning was peculiar. We were very disappointed. We had eaten there the prior year and it was delicious. No we won't return for a best out of three!

The food here was absolutely amazing. John our server was attentive to our needs. We had the baked brie, WOW, the tomato-red pepper soup, Delicious, the prime rib I could cut with my fork and hubbies steak was tender. Both meats were cooked properly. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing.

A group of us went there for dinner. The food was excellent and the service was too. We ordered off the menu even though it was specials night. Drinks were a little pricy, but the food was fairly priced.

We came for the Thursday special of 2 entrees for $35. The earliest reservation they could give us was 8 p.m.. We arrived at about 7:45pm and they immediately showed us to our table which was in an excellent location. They were not very busy and got even less busy. Our waiter Dragon seemed very nice. EXCEPT for the rest... More

Nice atmosphere in the inn but the dining room was cheesy. When placing my reservation I was told it was a Five Star restaurant. I don't think so. The shrimp cocktail/gazpecho was awful and the spinach salad was right out of the bag with a few walnuts and slices of apple. Salad was a joke. I had the crab cakes... More

Last Friday we made a reservation for the Thursday night Candlelight Dinner. When asked how much it was, we were told it was 2 for $32. When we arrived and were seated, the waitress was informed that we were there for the special. She told us it was 2 for $32, and we ordered. The food was great, the service... More

We have vacationed at the Stonehurst Manor for over 10 years, and the dining has remained consistently excellent. We love to start with cocktails in the library lounge (love the martini selection)- it is so relaxing to sit in the high-back chairs by the grand fireplace. Menu options include traditional and inventive salads, as well as extensive appetizer and entree... More

We dined here the night before our anniversary so when I made the reservation for my husband and myself, I mentioned this to the person on the phone at Stonehurst. We arrived early for our reservation: it was 6:20 and our reservation was for 7 p.m. - normally this is not a problem anywhere, if they have room - not... More

Loved this hotel from the hotel staff to the restaurant staff! Loved the local and regular customers were very friendly. Doggies welcome receiving their own elevated doggie water/food combo dish with special poopie bags, and a goodie bag with doggie cookies in it. Food is really delicious recommending the maple sausage pizza or the gorgonzola squash ravioli. Dinner is not... More
