My husband and I have been going for an occasional ice cream at Trails End for years, but this year, a new aura was happening there. The Ice cream was better than usual and the servers were very attentive and friendly. Try the Chocolate Chocolate...More

The leaves were spectacular. A picture of Trails End ice cream probably is in the dictionary next to “what ice cream should be.” At 2pm traffic was a little slow and the server gave us a brief history of the area with suggestions how to...More

My wife and I have eaten here twice on our vacation already. As others have commented, the servings are enormous. They have quite an assortment of flavors; I've had both ginger and pumpkin, and enjoyed both. The scenic view area is just across the street,...More

The ice cream is excellent and a one scoop "kiddie cone" would be enough for many adults. I can't imagine having more than a two scoop "small cone." Just a nice roadside ice cream place. Also has great mountain views.

The scoops are softball size, so the kiddie is one scoop and it's enormous. But the prices are good and you can get toppings or sundaes.

Trails End Ice Cream is the only ice cream shop on the Kancamagus Highway listed in the 2019 New Hamphire's Ice Cream Trail pamphlet. (If you haven't yet got one, swing by a rest stop or state information center. It's a great resource!) We didn't...More

We visited during our vacation and it was excellent! The portions were huge! The kiddie was one scoop but it was giant (2 small kids could easily split it!) They had about 20 different flavors and the accept cash and cards.

Thank you so much for this wonderful review! We so appreciate you taking the time to visit us, and enjoy that beautiful New Hampshire sunset! (and we all LOVE the Mint Chocolate Chip too -- great choice!)

Awesome ice cream. They probably have about 3 or 4 dozen flavors. TIP for families, get the larger size and divide it up. The scoops are HUGE. Pricing isn't that much more for more scoops.More
