So we ate here the first night we got to New Hampshire. We studied the reviews and they were spot on. The Lobster was great and cooked (boiled) properly, I had a 1-1/2 LB 'r. the sides were not all that great, but the seafood was good. they have no atmosphere there it's like I'm eating at the Library. they... My husband and I have wanted to try the Lobster Trap for quite some time, and when we did,e were not disappointed! We had the oysters on the half shell for an appetizer, which were perfectly chilled and fresh. Our waiter was a young man,I didn't get his name, but he was excellent! We both ordered the fried seafood platter, and it was... More

This is a yearly spot for the family and I every July. Not anymore, I had the Pasta with White Clam sauce, basically just some broth and butter and clams on Pasta, very bland. The Wife had the steak, which was also not seasoned. The Mother-in-law had the Steamed Clams, they were as big as Quahogs, never seen a steamer... More

The restaurant is an easy rural kind of drive away from the village's main business area and is located in a spot where we wouldn't have expected to find a seafood/Italian eatery like this. It wasn't busy in the early evening when we went so seating and service were not an issue. Being seniors, we shared a fried seafood combo/platter... More

We found this restaurant as we drove to our rental house in Bartlett, NH. It is unassuming from the outside, but definitely a place the locals love! We visited for dinner and the parking lot was filling up fast on a Friday night. They offer many choices of lobster...you name it, they have it. I didn't want to deal with... More

Let me start off by saying the lobster rolls and shrimp were fresh and delicious. Now the bad: 1st off we stood in the restaurant for nearly 10 minutes waiting to be seated while at least a half dozen waitresses watched us. Mind you the place was mostly empty. When we were finally seated we decided our meals and appetizers... More

We live in the area and it is always fun to see families and couples enjoying the beautiful White Mountain Valley! The Lobster Trap is a very nice restaurant and my wife and I had a great experience last evening. I had the seafood scampi (awesome) and my wife had lobster pie both very delicious. Our server, Grant was very... More

We stopped for lunch and have to say it's fair at best. We love lobster pounds and this did not live up to my expectation. Lobster toll was small. Used 1 pound lobsters I think claws looked super small. Lobster prices seemed a little high considering the atmosphere.

We went here for lunch. I found that the rolls with butter were unusually salty... not sure if it was the butter, the roll or both. The lobster roll I got was only claw meat and had too much mayo and celery for my liking. My husband ordered the lobster roll, heated with butter. His was all claw meat as... More

Off the beaten path but easy to find. Nothing fancy~Not a big menu listing. Hubby got a seafood platter & it was a full plate, he couldn't eat it all. I got the Lobster which came with an ear of corn. They don't do the salad & baked potato thing! Which makes the meals a little expensive. The food was... More
