My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our date night at Moat Mountain! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We even purchased a sampler of their brews and took home a growler for later!

So glad we stopped in here, as we almost passed it up due to the lack of street allure. They have a wide variety of food: pizza, sandwiches, burgers, salads, and more. The beer selection doesn't disappoint either. Great bar inside with several tables in the bar area and rooms surrounding. Food and service were awesome.

A little wait, but not bad. Great BBQ and craft beer. Little to no smokey taste. Only complaint would be, like many places, too many fries

My hiking friends and I love the Moat. The service is always fantastic, the food comes out quickly and is tasty, and the beer is fantastic. Try the ever expanding flight/sampler: I think they're up to 8 different pours now! There are plenty of veg friendly options for the non meat eaters.

Another great trip to Moat Mountain. The homemade beers are excellent. I enjoyed the East Intervale IPA and my wife liked their Weiss offering. The Asian pot stickers were perfectly cooked, served hot with a cold ginger "salad". Really nice flavors and contrast of hot and cold. My wife and I each had half of two entrees--the sesame crusted tuna... More

The Moat is a valley favorite for locals and visitors alike. They have a large and varied menu, with selections for carnivores, vegetarians, and vegans. They are probably best known for their barbecued meats, but also have pizzas, salads and even tofu wraps. Great for families with young children.

Im a beer snob, beer geek, call it what you will. The selection was not at all exciting to me. I ended up with the brown ale that was good but, it's been done many times over and over again. They had a couple of other breweries on tap but, wanted to drink what was made on site. I ordered... More

Starting off with a beer flight for $10 was a nice sampling of their brews. We tried the Brussel Sprouts appetizer which was wicked awesome! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the brisket sandwich on raisin toast with the Cajun Fries. My salad with grilled chicken breast was average but their homemade dressing pushed it up a notch. Our server, Candy, was... More

Stopped while visiting white mts. Good reviews on trip advisor. Food was good but still what you would get most places. Chilli was excellent. Burgers were good size and juicy. Cajun fries were actually sweet, not spicy. Prices were higher than I would expect. Not a place for a bargain, but I do highly recommend the bean-less chilli with huge... More

This was by far the best barbacue in the area. We made the mistake of getting 2 combo platters (only needed one). Their was so much food we have leftovers for at least 2 meals. Definitely a need to try place for anyone in the area. Did not disappoint.
